i'd like to roll out a random idea here, to address the fact that only one of the four bases was distroyed and none of the others, nor surrounding items were touched.
One I don't exactly subscribe to, it's just something that came to mind when I read about how the stones created a beam of light that would hit dates on one of the stones, moving every day. i don't know enough about them to know what might be 'the thing' about the chosen column to be destroyed.
But the question came to mind, 'What if....there was a 'target date' encoded within the stone(s)....? And that date either missed, or shouldn't be revealed...or....?.....
Meanwhile, the DS Plan is crumbling as well, so maybe the target date could be hidden.....using the destruction against one's enemies (MAGA didit).....to cover the evidence, while appearing to be 'victimized'.
Again, I don't subscribe to the idea.....
But why Did somebody chose to go for one single portion?
There might be reasons, but the thought occurred so I'm putting it out.
Anybody having water on what was on that column or anything about target date encoding could bring the sauce needed to support the idea.

basically, you state your intentions or carve them in stone and spill blood on top. the guide stones had a huge blood stain on that top rock.
