I see Israel (6-point star) above Soviet (5-point star; white, not yellow?) above CCP-red pentagon above Rosicrucian rose formed of Nazi-Germany eagles; attached to (dream of) eternity (symbol formed by "rope"). And that without trying any math...
I don't get it. That medal seems to have the same old stuff on it (stars and such) that medals have always had throughout history. Also I thought Americans actually liked eagles. If you say aha but stars=evil then OK but give us some sauce.
What do you suggest would be a more appropriate design for the medal?
"A symbolic example of this secret truth is contained within the National Bird of the United States. Many Americans and people around the world think that our National Bird of the U.S. is an eagle. They are wrong. The symbolic bird you will find on the Great Seal of the United States is actually the mythical bird known as a Phoenix.
The image to the left shows the obvious attributes of the Phoenix. This final design is attributed to Charles Thomson and was adopted immediately by congress on June 20, 1782. The scroll in the beak of the Phoenix is the Latin motto of 13 letters, E Pluribus Unum, meaning in English, ” Out of Many, One”. Later an olive branch and a bundle of 13 arrows (representing peace and war, respectively) were included in the claws of the phoenix. Over its head there appears 13 stars that are arranged in rows of 1-4-3-4-1, forming a six-pointed star. The Star of David and symbol of Israel. It was officially adopted as the National Emblem in 1787.
The symbol of the Phoenix represents rebirth, and reincarnation. It was adopted on our seal under the laws of heraldry. The meaning of the word heraldry is the practice of devising, granting, displaying, describing, and recording coats of arms and heraldic badges. In each country in the world, you will find symbols that represent, and/or as a form of identification of the regime in control of the land. These symbols like the Phoenix found here in the U.S. were said to have originated as early as predynastic Egypt c. 3100 BC, an emblem known as a serekh was used to indicate the extent of influence of a particular regime."
A five-pointed star, such as is the US emblem, is always going to yield a pentagon if you connect the points symmetrically. Fun fact: you can't tile a plane (cover it completely without a gap) with pentagons or 5-pointed stars. You have to introduce hexagons and/or 6-pointed stars. Then you have (gasp, clutches Holy Water) a star of Ramphan! So obviously all drawings with 5-pointed stars are secretly pointing to 6-pointed ones.
who says it is an eagle. What is the difference between an eagle and a phoenix?
What is the meaning of the bird looking to the right instead of the left?
But indeed .... pentagon x 3, decagon x1.
that is the freedom medal for you.
Falcons have really small heads and short beaks compared to eagles and a different wing shape, usually. Phoenixes, being mythical, are usually rendered iconically according to culture, e.g. here in the Valley of the Sun they have a stork-like long thin beak and are sitting in a fire. Chinese phoenix is different, more eagle like beak but long curled tail.
Thank you! I was aware of RA,the Egyptian god, but didn’t connect with falcon. And I didn’t know Mossad used that falcon as a symbol. Surely, Mossad knew about RA.
This article tells us who the recipients were; judge the choices for yourself as to whether they deserve the honor as much as Joe did when he received it from Hussein in 2018.
Stars are part of our flag and many other things pertaining to our government. We cannot be overly paranoid if one appears. I don't see anything occult in this award. Eagles! I love eagles.
All sources I see state that the bird is a bald eagle.
13 is the number of the original founding colonies. How else would it be possible to arrange 13 stars in an orderly fashion within a circle?
The star is stock standard symbol in the US and also within Christianity. But, how many types of stars can you have? Does evil own them all? 5 -sided, 6 sided, 7 sided, 8-sided, etc?
Evil uses occult practices by taking external things and infusing them with (evil) INTENT. The result is 'magic' i.e. spell casting, mobilization of evil satanic spirits and vibrations etc. By and large, Evil can only do this by taking God's original forms etc, created for a holy and good purpose (INTENT), and then abusing them and infusing them with some evil intent.
But God's natural creations are originally good, and do not have inherent evil meaning.
At some point, it is IMPOSSIBLE to design, create and express things without drawing from the very same original creations evil has abused.
For this reason, I am usually skeptical at certain criticisms of symbols etc as being evil and occult when there are also natural and good reasons for using such symbols, whose original creator is God.
To pin this as being some sort of occult spell casting stuff, I'd need a lot more information, specifically regarding the designer, their history, etc.
Not certain if the design has always been the same, but originally, the award was the Medal of Freedom established by Truman on July 6, 1945, Pres. Harry S. Truman via Executive Order.
It was re-established as the Presidential Medal of Freedom by Kennedy in 1963.
This is what discernment is for. This is why a relationship with the Truth and the Life is the most essential thing for a human being.
Any power that evil invests in such symbols is power generated by their evil intent and by compliance or implied consent given by the unwilling. When you align with the Creator and invest your attention and energy in that, that effort opens the way for true power to dissolve the power evil seeks to create.
I guess my view is that the entire miasma of occultic practices have 'so much power' because it's given over to them. In other words, focusing on them too much increases their power, instead of diminishing it. The same could be said for ascribing that power and intent in cases when in fact, it may not actually exist. (i.e. seeing every 5 sided-star as a symbol of evil occult practice instead of recognizing that sometimes, it's just not so.)
I don't indulge in such explorations too much for such a reason. Much, much better to identify how and where God is working, and focus on that.
These symbols hold no power to me. I don't consult any symbols when I make decisions because that would be like consulting oracle bones or tarot cards. I follow the advice to look at the fruits, not the surface. I've definitely added you to my prayer list since you are so bedeviled by them that you seem to feel they have their own power and life.

Eternal slavery?

13 colonies.
Also, the Great Seal.
Wait.... that's the Flag, not the Great Seal.
From what I could see, the same configuration is on the Great Seal.

How would you arrange thirteen stars symmetrically in a circle?
Pentagon (twice!) Eagle looks Like Nazi style.
All sources state it as a bald eagle. Pretty much any eagle in gold is going to look like a nazi eagle, as they were rife with eagle symbology.

Pretty much all sources discussing the design state the bird as the bald eagle, the national bird of the United States.
The 13 star arrangement in the middle is the same as the arrangement used in the Great Seal. 13 is the number of the original founding colonies.

Ok, so it’s a falcon, or maybe a phoenix!
It does

Interesting how this one is attached on one side of the star while the medal of honor is attached on two sides in the pentagram orientation.

counterclaim:
shapes of symmetry are all rooted in God's creation. E.g. starfish. https://pxhere.com/en/photo/171775

Some people want to see evil everywhere, and conspiracy to evil everywhere.

I don’t see the 6 point star everyone is referring to
The 13 little stars in the center make the shape of a 6 point star
👍
Symbolism will be their downfall. I also wonder what the political affiliations of the recipients were? Lots of benefits attached to those medals?
