I’ve always preferred driving over flying for all the reasons you mentioned above. I did just fly to CO though, but drove to TX and FL most recently - I live in the Midwest a stones throw from I-80 so we can travel anywhere easily.
…drove to DC too 😉
IDK if she’s heard about skydie. And my Dad recently contracted Covid to which she commented “the vaccines aren’t designed to keep you from contracting Covid”. Yea…ok, Sis
Funny, they were touting the vaccine as giving you immunity from Covid. That seems to imply that they were "designed" to keep you from getting covid. How quickly memories fade and change into a convenient fake reality.
Plane trips always struck me as extremely expensive, something you'd have to save up money to pay for.
Driving is just gassing up the car and going. For a few hundred miles, it is a whole lot cheaper. And you get your choice of restaurants, you can play the stereo as loud as you want, and you can carry anything you want without some asshole looking through your stuff or grabbing your crotch.
Your first paragraph reminds me of my old boss: he hates to fly and would frequently drive 10 hours back and forth for work stuff while everybody else flew. Sometimes he’d even make it home before the flyers!
One of my coworkers has a 28 year old daughter that is a pharmacist. She refused the vax and warned her family not to get it. All of them are clean and vax free. She works at a family pharmacy because she couldn't work for any of the big chain stores. I haven't seen her since she was in high school, but am looking forward to sharing data on ivermectin and quinine and see what she says.
My Sister has over 20-years in at the biggest retail pharmacy. 20-years of benefits and stock options, tippy top of her pay grade and she can’t go any higher…not that she was forced because she took that shit willingly and gave it to my Dad but I can’t help but feel like she was so easily brainwashed and has yet to connect the dots. I pray everyone close to her got mostly saline. Why else is my Dad repeatedly getting sick though…old age or VAIDS?
She couldn’t comprehend why someone (like my cousin) would consider leaving an extremely lucrative job (he’s an ortho surgeon) over the vaxx. She’s team asleep but a conservative.
It's a shame, but we can only hope that most of the decent people got the saline shots. I think this will be an abject lesson about trusting mainstream ideology. Just because it is the popular opinion and even if the "majority" of experts are touted by the media to all agree, it doesn't mean they are right.
Suddenly my sister, the triple vaxxed pharmacist is driving to her three last vacations. What gives? They can afford it.
“…so I can bring as much stuff as I want and not have to worry about it”
