That was the whole point of the Dobbs ruling. Scotus basically said, “This isn’t under the jurisdiction of the Federal government and never was, we’re tossing it back to the States.” (These people are stupid)

So now Congress is trying to act, not in the last 50 years, oh no. Not the five+ times the democrats held a majority in both houses plus the presidency. Now, when there's no hope of passage.
Remember when the people called on Republicans to vote out obamacare after they had "bravely" done it like 15 times when they didn't have power? They tried precisely once, had a defector who was dying be the lone stick in the mud and then moved the fuck on and never tried again?
Seems like history keeps repeating itself with the single party we have in Congress.
