Of course they're pissed, some random dude showed them what Vince McMahon sized grapefruits can do compared to all their "training" and "protocol", that's getting totally emasculated
Talk about projection. How many firefighters do you know? How many fire fighting missions have you been on? How many life-threatening fire missions have you been on? Do tell, please. We're all ears. Because you can tell from the footage that these men are pissed? Because they are not jumping up and down like teenage girls at a pop concert but dealing professionally with a very serious situation?
What, you think this is uvalde, that the firefighters we standing back waiting and they let some young dude run in and do the job? Isn't it 100% obvious that they were NOT on the scene, that the dude acted as he did out of necessity, and that they had just arrived and were dealing with the situation when he came out?
What a dumb comment.
Seriously. Sorry. I try to never be harsh or critical to pedes, but the above two comments are the most foolhardy comments I've seen on the board for ages.
My issue isn't that the firefighters wouldn't have gotten the job done or anything about firefighters specifically.
My issue is he got it done, and the response afterwards should have been "ambulance is here champ, you have guts" or "good job kid" or anything even semi comforting and respectful.
However, they just sounded spiteful he did half their job. Surely, if pedes and normies on twitter get the same impression, it's not entirely out of the question that's how it comes off
Comes off isn't exactly reality but it's not out of hating firefighters or something like that. For what it's worth I like firefighters and it pisses me off Target employees and libcuck teachers want to get paid the same or more than them
Despite my rather irate comment (I was irate, fo sho), you've replied in a measured manner, re-asserting your position. That's great.
I've just rewatched the video, and I still most vehemently disagree!
They arrive. (body cam)
Bystander informs them of the "6yr old girl and a 22 yr old male, in the house somewhere". The fighter immediately pivots, and begins a paced jog towards the house.
(Bodycam) jogging towards area (jogging is as fast as you're going to get over a sustained period of time with ALL that gear on).
The dude arrives, immediately they call "Medic!!"
"Come with me man, come with me" - because he is still in the danger area "you have to get away from the house" - so they can treat him properly.
"are you ok?"
Attending to his HEALTH - his wounds etc. (The LAST thing they are worried about is him feeling a bit disrespected because they aren't screaming and calling him "oh, you're so brave! Wonderful!" They are trained to minimize danger and secure well-being FIRST.)
Attend to work.
Maybe the one guy doing the tourniquet was having a bad day. I don't know.
But again, I find your response really ..... dumb. Sorry!!! I do. I'm glad it was these men there on that day, and not you!
Pedes and normies on twitter? I'm not accessing twiffer atm because they want me to remove a post to lift a ban, and I'm not decided yet.
But personally, I find the assertion obnoxious that these firefighters are somehow pissed because apparently? the pizza guy has balls and they do not????
Bleh.
But thanks for the civil response. We'll have to agree to disagree!
Now, let's carry on! We've got lizards to take down! (as opposed to firefighters who for whatever reason don't satisfy our own particular view of how THEY should act.)

Yeah, if it wasn't for that guy that baby and the rest of the family would be dead.
