Ask any lawyer this question: what law states I have to pay income tax?
-
Their answer will inevitably be: 16th amendment
-
My response: that gives congress the power to levy income tax. What law states I have to pay income tax? What law says I will go to jail?
-
The typical response: IRS code blah blah snore snooze fest
-
My point: only Congress can create law; this is not to be delegated. WV v. EPA only confirmed this fact and set precedent. The IRS cannot punish you for failing to file/pay taxes.
-
My question: now that we have precedent on our side from the highest court, do we even bother filing taxes this year? Is there anything I am missing? I won’t pretend to be a seasoned lawyer (though even seasoned lawyers give the same predictable answers and always raise eyebrows when they realize they have no idea).

What if it were actually illegal to pay taxes?
Because helping to fund a criminal organization is a criminal act.
Which would make me a criminal for funding our government.
Not a lawfag here, but it would seem to me you'd have the burden of proof to prove that the gov't is a criminal organization.
Ahh. The ol boobytrap!
I think when it comes down to the law only corporations are subject to income tax, all others are exempt. When you are born they register your name in all capital letters on your birth certificate, as a corporate entity. I think that's the game but we are sovereign free men. It's a good time for this fight.
Yes, the thought of paying taxes is getting harder and harder to stomach, especially when I see $$ being spent on BS issues/causes/events I could care less about, and more importantly, wholeheartedly disagree with.
2021 is too late, but going to be doing a lot of researching and considering for 2022 taxes.
I haven’t paid this year and figuring out how long I can hold out…

Here is the rub. We pay taxes so they can kill us. We pay taxes to have MORE taxes created by Congress. Congress and the DOJ have labeled most Americans terrorist.
We have no representation. False flags and other crimes against humanity are funded by our tax dollars.
Hardly seems 'fair'. It actually might trigger the 'cruel and unusual punishment clause.'

Our neighbor said the same thing and he said it to a neighbor and the neighbor and his wife were sentenced to 5 years in prison. And of course the government took their home as well. So go ahead and NOT pay your taxes.
Literally the point of WV v EPA if you were paying attention. I’m not advocating people put themselves in a position where they can be incarcerated (legally or not). But to not talk about this issue constantly would be fucking retarded at this point. But go ahead, keep living in your unquestioning subservient world lol
Is that… boot polish on your tongue?
Property taxes were the only tax in the early days of the country. At that time, only landowners could vote. That was because only land owners paid taxes, and the founding fathers were smart enough to know if people that didn't fund the government were allowed to vote, politicians would buy votes by promising to take money from the rich and give it to the not rich. Amazing how prescient our founding fathers were.
