I’ve been doing this since the height of Covid. I took them down as fast as I could. No one says anything and the managers don’t want to bother putting them up in the first place but usually the are just told to by whoever is above them.
I removed several from Thousand Trails on our trip we just took. Easy to do during middle of the night bathroom trips when everyone is sleeping. Started with two, no one noticed, took down more, no one noticed.
Nah. I’m gonna leave it up. They left the Zika one up and I think once they put the monkey pox one up the three together will show the bigger picture of what is actually going on here….

Most employees and owners have just grown accustom to the sign being there, and don't think anything of it. If you just bring it up, many times they'll gladly take it down. This is even easier when the sign is no longer true (e.g. "We're wearing masks for your safety" even when the employees no longer wear masks).
I've been pulling them down at work for over a year now. The ones I couldn't pull down got a label I printed with Fauci's face and a syringe with "Just say no to the little prick" on it.
In my much more wreckless days, my brother and I used to say, "You can do anything you want as long as you look like you're supposed to be doing it."
This is truth even when older and more cautious. Works even better with age.
