Ahhhh ok. Yeah I have this of course. So the thing is this - this ONLY restores the stuff that is digitally edited (in the original R-rated version you can certainly tell there's fucking going on etc, just can't see the most graphic bits). There is not extra actual content.
It is widely rumored that the original was longer and showed even more stuff, I've even seen breakdowns of what is allegedly missing - however how this info would have been gotten is dubious at best.
My personal opinion is that the original cut wasn't longer as it's not like the movie isn't already informative enough in terms of rituals and whatnot - Vigilant Citizen among others go through the massive amount of occult etc content already in the thing. And I don't think the movie would be served well by being much longer either. I also don't know, if they did not want this out, why the version that was released was released at all. You are probably correct. There was lots of chatter of an actual Director's Cut that might have been blocked or modified that had "extra scenes" that got cut from the theatrical release. The fact that there was so much back and forth and controversy over the expected "DIrector's Cut" is a solid indication that there is something interesting there. I believe the "Special Edition" actually came out AFTER Kubrick's death, so no doubt it got monkeyed with.
