Friend from work was in Wildwood NJ for a week. She said everything around the beach was Trump and let's go Brandon stuff. I was stocked she said this about NJ.
The old joke is, the entire shore is a conservative community because you have to actually work to own a home and boat down there.
Wildwood and Cape May are my spots, and they're probably 90% Trump.

As as Shore dweller, I concur. We worked hard to live where we do, but it's been worth it.
Just north of there in the Barnaget inlet area you can't turn your head without seeing a Trump or FJB sign. Up and down every Lagoon leading out to the bay, the houses and boats loaded up with signs and flags. Same in the northwest areas of the state and north eastern PA. Trump everywhere. I firmly believe NJ went red in 2020 and there was major fraud happening in cities like Newark, Camden, Elizabeth. Nobody puts up a fight in NJ though.
Yep, it was anxiously apparent in the 2021 election as well. People knew Murphy and his socialist goons were gonna cheat.

I grew up in South Jersey shore area ! I left at 15 and did a few years in Philly before hitchhiking to Cali .. I still remember the steel pier , boardwalk , the awesomn shores ( we call them beaches out here) and the Jersey corn and Tomatoes.. the vegetable state ;) ,, I'm so happy to hear this , it's a long flight and I don't really have a reason to go back there, but would if I had unlimited time to travel ;) yes, hits my heart with a smile to hear this !

NJ governor race was stolen. Jack won election night but they "found" extra votes for Murphy afterwards. Problem was that the RNC would not pay for lawyers for Jack so he finally had to concede.
People barely knew who Jack was, but I believe he won by a landslide. People in this state are fed up with Murphy (the granny-killing governor).
Agree. People just wanted Murphy out. I still think Rino Christie and his group helped to sabotaged Jack. There is such a clear divide in the Republicans in Jersey,

When that dunce Sweeney lost to the truck driver, he was about to demand a recount. He was incensed. Problem was the door that would open, which would be the governors race facing a full audit also.
Murphy pulled him aside and basically gave him his support as next governor. Sweeney decided to stop fighting and Jack was left on a hill that unfortunately her thought was too steep.

Well, the gas tax thing - he knew the Dems were going to do it when a Dem Guv was elected after him so he passed it with some conditions (no increase in inheritance tax and a few other things I forgot that were good for the people). So I will give him that. We have had Rino Republicans in NJ for a long time that ran the party. Look at Christine Todd Whitman. She was the worst.

Im always glad to see stuff like this. I live in central Jersey (end my suffering please) and god forbid if you say "The dems ain't doing so great, maybe I'll vote Republican." around here. Even those who are moderate get slammed. Even though im trying to move out if i have to stay in state I'm right now trying to figure out the best place to be.
