Alright, I might be misunderstanding, but has the "inflation bill" actually been passed or just advanced to the next stage of bureaucracy?
🗣️ DISCUSSION 💬
Every news article I've found says it was advanced and now they're proposing amendments and allowing debate about it, yadda yadda yadda, blah blah blah. Besides, I was under the impression that they couldn't pass such things with a simple majority because they can't get rid of the filibuster.
Maybe I'm just out of the loop, but it seems like there's a whole lot of outrage over something that hasn't actually been passed yet to me. Of course if I'm wrong or misunderstanding something, feel free to correct me.
It should easily pass the House. The Senate with Manchin and Sinema has been the last line of defense for the commie agenda.
I think we found the reason they put the fence up around the Capitol.
I believe they passed it under the fiscal budget so it only requires a simple majority.
Can Biden sign it? Is he well enough to do so? /s
