It may not be responsible for the thickening of blood but on several occasions I’ve drank a monster only to have it taste absolutely vile to me. These things period are bad.
The spike protein causes cells to "stick" to one another. It'd be plausible that if it got into your bloodstream it would cause your blood to "become thick."
Also excess caffeine or any stimulant can cause a heart-attack - that's not news to anyone.
