You can’t fly into a “private airport” (don’t exactly know what that means as all airport are regulated by the FAA) that does not have the ability to process immigration if you are arriving from outside the United States.
Why would they need to process immigration papers if you are a legal citizen? Do all rich people only fly in & out of major airports and not out of their own private runways/ co-opted private airports (not opened to public)?
(When I said private airport, I meant those not opened to the general public where there are TSA agents and such)
But how do they know you are a legal citizen? By presenting a passport. Rich people fly in and out of airport with immigrations and customs when returning to the US from traveling abroad.
I have a global entry card - you still need a passport if coming into the US by air.
and a covid death-jab certificate passport.
Not to enter the US you don’t. You’ve never needed a vaccine to enter the US if you are a US citizen.
Ah
Yes, if flying into Govt ran airports. Probably not so much privately owned ones.
