Sleepless…. Tossing Turning. Mind racing. Can’t relax anymore. Any recommendations on restful techniques? At the rate im going im gonna have bags like Soros!
Counting sheep actually does work for me sometimes if I visualize the sheep jumping a fence. IDK why maybe I saw a cartoon at some point in my life.
Sounds like your tired but your mind is still working over time. I’ve had that problem over ten years.
Look up box breathing and/or deep breathing.
Lemon Balm or California poppy herbal tincture can help. There’s many herbs that might help. Unfortunately herbal medicine can be just finding the best herb for you. Herbs aren’t like pharmaceuticals. Pharma meds works instantly and is a bandaid. Herbal medicine takes time and is working to heal your body. It’s not uncommon for an herb to take several months. Some people think they aren’t working then find out they were helping once they stop the herb.
Essential oils can relax you. Eden’s Garden and Plant Therapy companies have a search by condition.
I have never been able to sleep at night, so I put this video on, and I just listen to it from my phone. I fall asleep every time.

Great suggestion. I’m going to look into techniques of meditation that can be done to help shift gears. Or even fit into my busy schedule. THANK YOU! Everyone has such great suggestions!

Also can add lemon balm, melatonin, l-serine.
When I wake up fretfully, I add in some prayer and give the mind stuff to God.
Yes, I put in my headphones and listen to audio bible. It gets me centered and relaxed
Lots of great suggestions.. I’m a small biz owner working roughly 60 hrs a week on average plus about 10 hours of bookwork on top of that. My sleep pattern is quite irregular and mostly get about 4-6 hours of sleep a night. If I NyQuil, zzzquil, Benadryl I can force myself to sleep. Quit smoking earlier this year, went vegan 3 months ago ( or at least mostly.. love bacon wayyy to much to give it up) much healthier now .. lost 10 lbs so far and really thought normal sleep patterns would return No such luck Don’t do liquor much either…. Geez, I sound like a bore! Lol.
Gonna try the fresh sheets thing. Maybe hotel type bedding
Sounds lik chronic lack of magnesium vit d and vit c. Magnesium will sort out your sleep problems. There isn't enough nutrition in veggies now..depleted soil..GMO crops etc.
Never thought about my diet being the culprit. Maybe instead of blvrgsn , just plain ole clean eating along with your suggestions
