Since the realtors are gay themselves, I’ll assume the realtors are just cashing in on the current subgroup sentiment instead of leaving the state themselves. If you believe everyone around you hates you because of your sexual orientation or religion or gender or whatever else you can be offended by and because of that you feel the need to leave the state you are in, then do it. No one is stopping you. You are not as important as you think you are. Let the realtors cash in on made up oppression. Let a patriot buy the house.
Look, realtors are just as desperate for revenue as any other business right now. So ginning up this fake kind of fear among a certain population, while showing all the accoutrements of that group (rainbow flags, etc.) just seems like a very transparent attempt to drum up business. For a realty business that size, even if only 20 gay homeowners respond, they've made their profit for the year.
Around my parts (east Tennessee) my (female) wife and I (hetero male) get probably 20 offers to buy our house each month....not to mention the many radio ads we hear saying the "Holly" or "Jim" or fill in the name want to buy our house. The desperation for business is beginning to show.
Texas doesn't persecute LGBTQ people. They simply don't allow 7-year-olds to have hysterectomies or a 12-year-old to have breast removal surgery, puberty blockers or other life altering genitalia surgery. A person can have those things beginning at the age of consent, typically at 16-yr old to 18-yr old if they truly want.
Other than that, there isn't any persecution. You can go out in public with purple hair and dress in full drag... and nobody cares.
I would be willing to trade straight up my house, for a house in Florida, GA, Area.....If some pink haired man, and blue haired female would trade equal value.....I would in a heart beat.
Any volunteers out there want to help me start "Flee Tennessee?"
I'm for it.

I had the same thought: why isn't the realtor fleeing??
Is there a donation page?!
Don't send them to Arizona.
Unfortunately they will probably flee to Virginia…..

That's stupid.

They should go to Illinois.
Illinois would be red w/o Chicago!
True that send them to Chicago.
Sounds good to me

People FLEEING is a niche'....small group.
Hardly a new need....
He is drumming up housing units to list himself, to then sell to ppl moving into TX.
