... so folks like the Rockefeller's can't avoid taxes for 100 years and entities like Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street get to pay their fair share on their raw monopolistic economic power.

How about no tax. How about we get the money back that was stolen from us by criminals.
I do think we will receive some money back, but you need to recognize the planet doesn't run itself for free, and there is cleanup that needs to follow this last 100years of false flag insanity, specifically --- The Ocean habitat.
just tariff imports harder, with all the shit we buy from china that should pretty much cover all expenses, and it would encourage people to buy local
No slave taxes people. Sales tax only. Each category has a free option. No tax on chicken, tax on lobster.
10% too high.
Your recommend, and reason why?
Add up what it costs as an average citizen for all services and charge that to everyone. Why should someone who makes less, that may use more services than average....pay less than someone making more?
No thanks. Fuck all involuntary taxation. With voluntary taxation, the second some crook oversteps his bounds you can withdraw your support without having to wait for potentially crooked elections.
Voluntary, serious?
100%
If nobody wants to pay it, it isn't worth it. The details will sort themselves out very quickly, such as paying dividends to whomever stemmed the taxes e.g. for a new highway and who gets to access it for how much.
Not EUssr, but I don't see why it couldn't work. Big business loves stuff like roads and police, so don't you think that stuff will get funded, even if the unwashed masses don't put a single cent forward?
Big business hates taxes, that is why they are now multinationals keeping their money offshore in places like Ireland. Even here in the USA corporations have states and counties competing for their infrastructure based on the number of years worth of tax holidays they are given. This is not right, and needs to stop or else we compete ourselves into oblivion. Flat tax is the way to go, Forbes suggested 5% back in his day for everyone and corporations. According to Forbes we would be awash in money, money needed to rebuild our cities that the corporate entities and politicians have absolutely destroyed. Imagine cities building their economies on tourism, what a freaking joke as we are now finding out that the unemployed cannot tour.
No, taxation is theft.
No taxes. As soon as I figure out how to stop my job deducting it automatically from my check, they're gonna have to come take it from my cold, dead hands.
Oh, no more economic monopolies. Thanks Clintons, you made it, you are right up there with the Bush's for the face of evil on the planet.
That would definitely put the 87,000 new irs employees out of work!
I agree, but why a flat tax? Why not a flat fee for government services?
Are you saying: If your off grid accepting no government services whatsoever ... your free as a bird?
I was saying...a flat fee....more fair than a flat tax.
Would a person "off grid" be required to pay a 10% across the board flat tax?
Why, why not?
If you don't use any government services...IF you don't vote, get mail, have your well water tested by your county...not sure anyone could claim they are completely self-sufficient by living in the US.
They would have to update the Internal Revenue Code to include the names of the 50 states of the Union. At the moment, state=DC and sometimes the federal territories.
Non essential items only works for me.
I'm OK with sales tax. The rest, income tax, inheritance/death tax, property tax, yearly tax on cars, etc are not constitutional, IMO.
One tax. Flat tax for everyone and every entity.
Personally, I'm in favor a hybrid flat tax/progressive sales tax system. Flat tax on everyone with incentives offered based on family size and marital status (Just like Hungary is doing which is actually helping them return to traditional morals, beliefs, etc. while also allowing for organic population growth in a stable manner), and then have a progressive sales tax that taxes you more, the higher you spend on a single item. Want that Rolls Royce? Ok, that'll be a 40% sales tax on it. Wanna buy a used Silverado? 5% sales tax.
Of course this doesn't account for actual tax deductions and whatnot that legitimate business owners use, like real estate deductions, carried inventory deductions, losses, payroll deductions, etc. etc.
But you get my point. This is the answer I've come to. Like everyone else I'd LOVE to have zero taxes, but that's not feasible in the modern era. People go on about "but they did X in the 1800s without any taxes!" Well yeah, they didn't have modern infrastructure to keep up and maintain in the 1800s. Would you like for us to go back to dirt roads? Zero regulations on hunting and fishing (which almost caused the extinction of the Buffalo)? Crapping and peeing in out houses since we have no public water or sewer? etc. etc.
People need to stop trying to be the opposite end extreme of the morons we're fighting. There IS a happy medium here, and THAT is what we should strive for in the future, so that we can actually live the lives we want to live with the standards we want and desire.
How about flat nothing. We've been stolen from enough.
Agreed....if God can make it on10% our Govt should be able to.
And with the known and steady revenue income, we need to abolish deficit spending and"entitled" spending. EVERY line item should be appropriated, for federal purposes only, not added automatically. Force spending prioritization. End the wealth redistribution that is the block grant policy and force states to establish their own tax regime. As a citizen of the Commonwealth of Virginia, I should not be held hostage to education funding requirements in Mississippi, public union bailouts in Chicago, or migrant services in California.
Tax luxuries ...planes boats..anything not a need
Nah, even though I don't have 'em, there is a need for 'em. Its called advancement.
It make sure the rich pay for their pleasure hat he poor can't have
Your an idiot. Middle class folks want boats and planes and the such and we save for it or pay notes. Why would you want a luxury tax when a flat tax would more than cover the need.
