I think bigger issues are possible like kill switches for major players being nukes or something. I feel like there is something really devastating that would happen had they just started this way. Is it bad? Yes. Could it be worse? Yes.

Unless a civil war will in fact not become a Bolshevik Revolution, because it disallowed said Bolsheviks time to amass weaponry, gain urban combat experience and skills (see Reddit in Ukraine) and consolidate allegiances in and among our own government federal to municipal. If it does become one anyway, it is still outnumbered and outgunned. It would likely turn from attempted Bolshevik Revolution to The Troubles, or attempted Bolshevik Revolution then Fascist uprising. There is a reason the present regime despises white men and has criminalized organization, strategy and patriotism. It knows that patriotism, once prohibited, cancers quickly into Fascism, and that Fascism is the only known deterrent so far against Bolshevism. I just don't see the wisdom in malingering. What that is doing is allowing the cancer of Marxism to spread and strengthen. Which it is actively doing. Why wait to allow it to spread and take vital organs? Chemo can stop it. And what is chemo? I've named it in the paragraph above.

The "16 year plan" would have ABSOLUTELY resulted in a civil war, then eventually a scorched earth Holodomor.
It has, SO FAR, been thwarted.
You really should familiarize yourself with the details of that original plan... it would have worked VERY well. The ENTIRE WORLD would have been united against us - full narrative control. It is exactly your type that would have paved the way for their victory, too.
We would have been locked down in fear because of a REAL pandemic, or rounded up in a camp, completely unable to organize, let alone fight. And, this only barely scratches the surface. Lack of food, supplies, etc. You and your neighbors little AR-15 might have kept you alive for a few days longer than some, but divided we would be, and that's not a recipe for victory. The hordes of immigrants, foreign armies, and useful idiots would have easily overwhelmed enough of the country to call it over.
And, even if some of you succeeded in forming up and holding out, your "victory" would be very short lived... the DS wouldn't care. Eventually you would starve, or, the nukes would come. They didn't care how long you lasted - it would have been a victory for them as long as the US of A ceased to exist. Scorched earth still gets the world population down below 0.5B, just as planned. "Heads I win, Tails you lose".
They wanted us GONE. Not conquered. Not just disarmed. GONE. That's a whole different war...
