I remember a few years back when he had a few episodes with an obviously sick voice. He never mentioned his condition, just kept putting out podcasts like a machine. I respect that he didn't make it about himself. Humility is uncommon.
Last post was Thursday with a spotlight on Friday (which looked like he recorded 2 days prior). He generally does the report every day but Saturday and last night he posted a delay of the report until 11:30 pm EST. Even Dave needs a vacation or a break. It gets to the point some days that he rehashes the same material he said the day before only in a different way. I wish he would just say he is taking a short break and won’t post unless something news breaking happens!
He actually sounded a bit stuffy in his last video, thought "what does he do if he gets sick?". Maybe he just needed a break to recoup
