I have said the same thing about my dad who died in March 2019. He spent several months in and out of the hospital before he died; either my mom or I was with him every one of those days. He would not have lived through the forced isolation of the following year, so while I would have loved to have him longer, I am comforted that he didn’t die alone.

I’m not arguing your point that some translations are garbage, only that Believers can get into pedantic arguments about translations when the point is to READ it. I am a regular student of the Bible and frequently refer to the Greek and Hebrew texts. The KJV has not cornered the market on being the most faithful translation, but I will heartily agree that in some instances, there is nothing like the beauty and majesty of the old King James.

The enemy loves for God’s people to be divided over stuff like this.
