Veneration means respect, adore. You pass over 1,500 years of traditional Catholic /Christian tradition & history to fit your narrow Protestant perspective. It’s no wonder Christianity died in Europe after the 1500’s. The Holy Religion got so bastardized in Europe but traditional Christian religion was kept preserved in the Americas & flourished throughout the Continent.
Christianity also began to die in America after the murder of America’s first Catholic President, JFK. That coincided with the subversion of the church by homos & Masons. Mary is venerated by both Catholics & Orthodox faith. She is respected. I often think feminism would have never taken root in America the way it did, had Americans been more Catholic & respected the role of Mary, the Virgin Mother of God & role model for all women. It’s a real shame.
No graven images means no graven images and that comes from the thunderous voice of YHWH and was written with his very finger in tablets of stone.
I could care less about tradition because I know my Bible.
Matthew 15:3
But he answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?
Matthew 15:9
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Tradition also means Christmas trees and Easter eggs. I bet you ignore the pagan connotations of those things as well, but they are most assuredly not Biblical.
Isaiah 8:20
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.
Again, bastardizing Christianity with your interpretations.
I think the Moloch statue would classify as a graven image. Not Holy objects that constituted the foundation of Christianity & Western civilization.
After Constantine converted Rome to Christianity, his mother went to the Holy Lands to collect Holy relics. This included the Holy Cross & the Spear of Destiny. You Protestants cut yourselves off from so much Christian history by denying the Church.
The spear was confiscated by the Satanic Mason, Napoleon & by Freemason Hitler.
Even those Satanic pagan Leaders had more respect for the holy Christian relics that began the Christian religion than you Protestants. I don’t see the occultists going after Protestant relics or mimicking your mass because God does not dwell there.,
The Moloch statue definitely would classify as a graven image, as would a statue of the so-called "Queen of Heaven."
The word translated as "graven image" is pesel or פֶּסֶל.
Pesel means idol or image, a carved image. A statue definitely qualifies, and that's according to the very words out of God's mouth.

And relics?
You really believe Sedlec Ossuary is a holy place? Even the chandeliers are constructed from human bones AKA first class relics...

Sorry, but I don't believe I need the bones or other body parts of a dead saint in the altar for my prayers to reach Yeshua.
Yes, I'm sure you believe in transubstantiation and that I'm a heretic and bastard because I know what the Bible actually says about these things.
From a 15th-century German woodcut of the host desecration by the Jews of Passau, 1477.
The hosts are stolen and sold to the Jewish community, who pierce them in a ritual. When guards come to question the Jews, they (the Jews) attempt to burn the Hosts, but are unsuccessful, as the Hosts transform into an infant carried by angels. The Jews, now proven guilty, are arrested, beheaded, and tortured with hot pincers, the entire community is driven out with their feet bound and held to the fire, and the Christian who sold the hosts to the Jews is punished. At the end the Christians kneel and pray.

Well. Your new-age Christian perspective may not believe in the power of relics, but millions upon millions of early Christians that preceded you & your new age religion, did believed in the Holy relics obtained by the Holy Roman Empire. I think it’s cool that Catholic European nobility had these relics & professed their intense devotion to God & country. Even Hitler the Pagan believed in the power of these relics & attempted to collect them. You telling me that Hitler had more faith than in these ancient Christian relics than you! Ain’t that something?
People venerate Saints because they did incredible deeds for the sake of the real faith. Relics Is how people remember the early church & the Christian 1,200 years of history that Protestants chose to forget.
I like authenticity. I simply feel that any man made religion after 1517 lacks substance & authenticity. You really think your gonna get swept away in a rapture? Didnt rapture theology become prevalent in the late 1900’s?
Respect is one thing, having images and statues of her, and praying to her...that's another. Look up Queen of Heaven in the Bible, and see what it says. I was 10 years old when I first got my hands on a Bible (well, New Testament). I read it by myself in secret. It was clear to me even as child that what I saw Catholics doing with their Mary was contrary to the Word of God.
What Masonic Pope Burgolio is doing venerating the Pagan Godess Pachamama is sacrilegious, I would agree with you there:
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pachamama
However the veneration of Mary was practiced in the early church and all through-ought Christian civilization; up until Protestant revolts; then Christianity shit the bed & 4,000 denominations split off.
I don't guide my life by what was practised in any church. The Bible says someone in Corinth banged his stepmother and boasted about it. That's very early in the church. I guide my life by what was practised by Jesus and by what the Bible says. The Bible says to pray to the Father in the name of the Son. If you're praying to Mary or any so-called "saint" you're doing Christianity wrong.
