When I was in Grammar school in London, a million years ago, I was told that they named him "Charles" because the British Monarchy would end with him. His name was deliberate: Charles 1 was executed during the English civil war. Charles 2 was driven off the throne and fled to France in exile, but returned when Republican rule (YES! the UK as once a Republic) was overturned, and the Monarchy was restored.
Charles III will end the Monarchy and return the UK to Republican rule. Which they have been fighting for since the 1600's.
As a Constitutional monarchy, aren't they basically a republic now? The Parliament and Prime Minister have all the governing power.
Yes, their rulership hasn't got any real.legs. it does benefit the Rothschild tho.

I don't think they've ever "planned" the end of their rule. Powerful people don't do that. They don't give up power.
With that end, Will and Kate's future will be undetermined, and unfortunately we will see Me-me and Ginger take to UK politics.
