The Government also plans to introduce evidence which reflects that every phone call received by the defendant from July 21, 2016 through August 2016 on the phone number that he provided to Sergei Millian was from individuals other than Millian who were known to the defendant (either from his contacts list or through other means), and thus, the defendantβs contention about an βanonymous callerβ is not supported by the evidence.
But as discussed above, the defendant did not provide the FBI with the two additional emails that he sent to Millian , including an August 18, 2016 email which made clear that Danchenko had not, in fact, heard back from him by that date β thus making a late July phone call and planned meeting in New York an impossibility.

The problem with evidence like this is summed up in the statement βprovided with these facts, a jury can reasonably concludeβ¦β.
Society has gotten so polarized that a juror could easily conclude whatever they want. I watched the entire Sussman trial. It wasnβt even close, he was guilty but a DC Jury saw it differently. The Woke give the guilty a pass unless they are the victim and than all hell breaks out
Thanks for this high quality post

"Government finds itself guilty"
Im concerned that I have seen little to no chatter that reports are saying Durham is wrapped everything up and this is the last hurrah.
The fact they're still prosecuting people this low on the totem pole when there's evidence going straight top is just mind boggling. Just remember the government can't retain competent employees and attract talent, including in the DOJ, so to expect them to run a smooth investigation would be asking for too much. Anyone worth the suit they wear would go to a private firm after a year or two.
