This is so funny. At church we are in the middle of The Truth Project which explains God from the scientific side that absolutely proves God is real and you must be a fool not to believe in God, from a science perspective... and every truly intelligent man in history that was honest with himself about the truth and not just trying to prove what they think to be true, they all professing God exists and created everything before they die... its an amazing thing.
If you could prove God exists, faith wouldn't be necessary.
I can prove God exists by looking at the structure of an eye or by seeing a watches inner workings and knowing the only way it came about was from a creator… that’s easy… having the faith to believe that God has a plan for us and has told us what to do, then sent His Son many years ago to fulfill all of the prophesies that were given hundreds of years before that… having the faith to believe in and follow that in today’s age is what makes it so hard… it took me about 4 years of studying before I finally made that leap.
of faith
Actually, the existence of God is not a doctrine of faith, it can be proven by natural reason. However, things like His love, mercy, care for mankind, promises of everlasting life, commandments, and such, are more relevant to faith.
For example, knowing that your wife exists is easy enough, she's standing right over there and can be determined by natural reason. But when she speaks and says "I love you", that takes a bit of faith because you can never have 100% guarantee that she is telling the truth.
Except faith comes from evidence.
When you leave your house do you go back to it? Yes because you have faith it will be there when you come back. Otherwise you would think your house burned down or got swallowed by the earth and never return.
I don't understand how this refutes my point. Are you saying faith is the only reason to believe the house will be there? If so, then faith is in Truth, and Truth is self-evident. Something most people refuse to realize.
Watch Genesis, Paradise Lost. Outstanding.
Thanks I will!
Oh gosh, if this doesn't exactly fit a couple of oddballs I know.
Atheist be like: I believe anything is possible.
Also Atheist: anything except God.

Meloni quoted Chesterton in her anti-Globalist speech.
How come I'm just hearing about this guy? I know...I'm ignorant.
Depends on the man. Most atheists just replace the concept of God with the State. Others, like myself, believe in a universal secular morality. Which pretty much overlaps Christian values 1:1. Which just goes to show how much wisdom is in the Bible.
