Oh my God... This is no joking matter. Fentanyl is one of the easiest drugs to over dose on, and the consequences are immediately deadly. Fuck whoever would think of lacing candy with this. THIS is why President Trump is calling for the death penalty for drug dealers. Lacing candy with this poison is attempted murder!
They specifically said in the video that the criminals are not lacing the candy. They are sending drugs that look like candy and chalk, sometimes in the packaging of skittles and other brands. Be alert and check the food item before you give it to someone to eat.
Yeah I agree always stay vigilant. Drug dealers are trying to make customers not take on dependents. I don’t imagine the “children” these would be marketed too would have enough lunch money to support a fentanyl habit. Plus lacing, making and packaging these pills costs money so I can’t imagine anyone would want to just give them out for free. It’s a non zero chance for sure so always inspect and stay aware but I’m skeptical of this being anything other than this years “Halloween horror”
Don't I know, my stepbrother overdosed on drugs laced with fentanyl and died. His so called "friends" didn't call for help until it was too late. He was trying to stop doing drugs, but he had a hard time, kept going back to it. He was so young, in his twenties, about 4 months younger than my oldest child. (yeah, my dad's wife is much younger than him)
My middle son has 2 best friends since kindergarten. One lost his older brother a couple years ago to OD, then a couple months ago lost his younger sister to the same. His other best friend just lost his only sister to OD. I've been to 3 funerals in the last couple years of 20-somethings. It's horrific
Sorry to hear that, it is horrific. What a shame these kids get hooked on drugs or feel they have no other recourse but to take their lives for whatever is going on in their lives that they feel they can't handle. It's very sad.
What I didn't say in my comment above was that my stepbrother died of OD almost a year to the date that his (our) younger sister died of OD on Benadryl, (this may be the reason he started drugs again) she meant to do it as she had some things going on that she felt she couldn't take anymore. However, I don't think my brother was trying to OD, he was trying to get high and what he took was laced with fentanyl, whether he knew it or not I don't know. And those were the only two children my father and stepmother had together.
I am so so sorry to hear that. I don't think these young people meant to OD either, just trying to get high and we all remember being that age and thinking bad things happen to those people and not us.
If they can press them into pills and color them, there really isn’t a candy they cannot counterfeit
So, we either play “duck and cover”, or we go “hunting” and blow the living crap out of the fentanyl producers in such a brutal manner; our enemies are too terrified of our response, they chose not to do this again. Personally, I am a fan of napalm

🤣
From the video, most of what they showed looked like regular street drugs in pill form, just rainbow colored. They also showed colorful chalk.
Criminals are trying to hide these from the package inspectors, not be sneaky and kill our kids. Stay vigilant though, I could always be wrong

In all honesty, buy from something that isn't a dubious source.
Like don't buy Nerds or Skittles from a pop-up business, or in some weird bulk bag on Amazon, but I figure your local Walgreens would be ok.
The logic is that the big stores buy from the factory distributors.
But be extra weary when Trick or Treating (those that do). I honestly wouldnt do it this year and tell my kids to hate my guts.

This is murder on a wide scale. Kids don’t eat 1 skittle or 1 piece of candy. They eat the bag, all of it
This is not an attempt to create addiction. This is an attempt to kill as many children as possible
Don't buy or eat Skittles. Spread the word.

Plenty of drug dealers are simply engaged in voluntary commerce. Lacing candy with dangerous drugs is not drug dealing.
