Because of his “slight, temporary, not that bad” inflation, me and hubby and everybody else on Soc Sec is getting around 8.7% cost of living. HIGHEST in 40 yrs🤣! But with inflation is really at about 14%, it’s not mucho but every cent helps right now. Hope the Dems heads explode over this one!

They’ll just raise Medicare insurance costs by 8.7% to offset.
Shocker but the premiums are actually being reduced for 2023
(I know everyone is used to Medicare saying, "Social Security gave you a COLA increase? Gimmedat!!!")

Well that’s a positive. Thanks for the link.
I'm a welfare worker in California and this month the Cost of Living increase was 22.1 percent. I have never seen it jump like that.
You did better than me,I got 4.5 % on my wages.
When will this occur? Or has already?
After jan1 23
Soc Sec benefits increase will probably be on February payments.
Jan, retroactive to Nov
Sucks that it doesn’t match inflation. I think they use cpi and that’s manipulated…
For the contents of their head to explode, it would first need to be filled. As of now, it is empty.
I don't care how many times people tell me that nothing can explode into something, I don't believe it.
Do you eat? Do you drive?
gas and food are at 40 year highs.....they are not included in "inflation" numbers.
I don't want to "thank" Pedo Prez for the increase, but my wife and I will sure appreciate the increase after paying our sizable increase in our utility bills. Winter is just beginning and it's hitting our pocketbook big time.
