This post from u/Honor+Duty brought it out pretty succinctly. Decided to respond to him by writing out some thoughts of my own, shared after the quote below

These guys ask and answer all the questions we have about current events. They are speculating based on a lot of facts and from the viewpoint of devolution being real. Excellent discussions here for sure.

Thanks for backing me up on that fren. I definitely had several "eureka" moments listening to this, Burning Bright is especially talented at distilling the messages underneath that are coming from the leadership of our side, IMO he has a real gift with that.

For a while now I've actually held a corollary theory to the narrative he explained in this one. Over the summer there were these infrequent but sharply worded statements by Biden, MSM articles, and so forth regarding the 2022 midterms and the possibility of their loss.

Biden directly stated that if they lost the midterms it would be almost unquestionably due to "voter fraud" "election tampering" and the like.

Several of the major outlets have echoed like-minded sentiments in the odd news piece or segment of a news show. One that I found particularly telling was this recent video piece put out by the New York Times, linked here. I mean... even the title: 'The Real Threat to American Democracy' ...pff. Sheesh, that is some smelly garbage.

They explain that its not just likely but guaranteed that because "election deniers" won various primary races throughout the country (which was unexpected on their end, that acknowledgment is missing from the piece of course) if those same candidates win their midterms it will be because they banded together to do election tampering/fraud to win.

The logic being that because they are wild eyed lunatics who believe that the 2020 election was stolen due to conspiracy and massive collusion, they must have no higher moral standard to hold themselves to, and thus will conspire and collude to do the same actions they falsely believe happened in 2020, which was of course THE SAFEST ELECTION IN HUMAN HISTORY because some unknown twit from CISA said that and none may question.

This is a logical fallacy of course, equating the idea that because of our candidates evidence-based accusations of meddling in the election with them having the willingness or propensity to engage in such actions themselves. As though accusing someone of murder, when you were let's say an eyewitness to that person stabbing a victim, would somehow make you capable of those actions yourself. I don't think that's how it works. >_>

Part of this is ass covering for them, because they don't want it to get out that they actually HELPED FUND SOME OF THESE PRIMARIES, using that same strategy they took against Trump that they would have better chances against non-GOP establishment endorsed candidates whose views are not in sync with the mainstream party lines. This attitude was warned against again and has failed them miserably, AGAIN, and so the NYT narrative as we will refer to it helps provide a smokescreen from them having idiotically done this again in some of the primaries and keeping some of their more squeamish donors from withdrawing funding ahead of the midterm.

The other part is what Burning Bright calls "narrative seating" or in plain language getting out ahead of the events that are coming by planting the ideas into the mainstream news flow. Trump did this in 2020 constantly ahead of the election, repeatedly saying that the Dems would cheat, they had to do cheat, and in a big way, which caused more normies to put their ear to the street and notice it when it occurred.

At the same time in 2020, various propaganda news sources, notable Dems, controlled ops etc. were occasionally dropping scenarios of Trump not conceding the election once he lost, the military needing to be activated, Trump removed and generals perp walking him from the White House in cuffs, Alex Jones claiming Dems were 'wargaming' and would plunge the country into civil war, the west coast states would secede with a Trump victory or Supreme Court involvement, and so on. Those messages were not all over the place but rather carefully and tactically put out at certain times and in certain places, which I think actually has a larger impact in today's rivers of news garbage that we all wade through to find those kernels that matter.

Now in reality that scenario was a Christmas wishlist present at the top of the Dems list, following their preplanned steal. Like many other narratives, the "think: mirror" rule applies and Trump of course stood down for the good of the country WHEN THEY WOULD NOT HAVE DONE THE SAME. Now we will get to watch what happens when they lose in a fair fight and are asked to gracefully step aside. Does it seem like maybe they will be the ones perp walking, in the near future. To quote that lady from Alaska:

You betcha.

Lastly, they have wasted enormous time and energy pushing back so hard against the very CONCEPT OF ELECTION TAMPERING CLAIMS. Such talk is that of domestic terrorists like the J6 people (deplorables to them - but don't doubt they are scared shitless due to the sheer numbers that showed up to Stop the Steal, Trump said in the rally last night he thinks over ONE MILLION people were there, and of course almost all the footage not manicured by the MSM has been censored and redacted so it is hard to tell now) and people who would do vile things to attain and hold power. It is a danger to democracy, the biggest threat to our country's future, an outright LIE as acknowledged by TRUMP'S OWN JUSTICE AND FBI who found nothing after repeated investigations.

They have put all their eggs into this basket. Whatever remains of their credibility and integrity is spent here, on not just denying these election denials and accusations they cast aspersions on and deem as spurious, but the whole idea of ever raising a challenge to an election, evidence or no, which they've made strong connections to being un-American, unpatriotic, and a domestic terror proponent.

Now, how much is it going to completely shred them and whatever real belief even their most ardent followers that are left have in their word and credibility when they become the ones who imagine and conjure up shadows around every corner? When they dive hard into shoddy research done by non-government entities, looking for anything, a single blade of grass pointing the other way? When they actually start to literally make things up and hold them up as undeniable proof of a vast widespread conspiracy against the Democratic party?

Oh man, the drivel we're going to hear. The self-implosion is to be glorious.
