In the United States media editorial policy has not wavered on one subject this year: Ukraine is always winning the war.
From the first week, when the Ukrainian air force and navy were smashed, to last week’s smashing of the electrical grid – this is what “victory” looks like in the Ukrainian language, apparently. The Russians can electorally incorporate territory after territory, but to suggest that Ukrainian victory hasn’t already arrived is verboten in American public spaces.
Maybe the Ukraine war is like watching a Rocky movie.
Ukraine gets the snot beat out of them for 14 rounds (meanwhile gaining audience sympathy)... and then comes back in the 15th round to pound Russia into respecting them, while still losing.
...howls...
...it is hard to respect a "person" who dances in ladies shoes and does Vogue photo shoots in a contrived scenario....
This is the Monte Python version of war.
If Ukraine keeps winning, Russia may annex even more land soon.
I know right? In NZ, a headline today was: the reason why Russians are droning electrical infrastructure is because they are losing.
Whaat?
...howls....
FTA: Ukraine has always been winning, is winning currently and will win in the future because the US always wins every war it embarks upon.
This and his list of other places around the globe where America has 'won' in the past 20 years reminds me of Orwell's 1984.
Good article.
u-krane is in Russian Territory, No, ?
Technically, yes. They made some way into 4 new territories recently (about 3 weeks ago) joined Russia. Ukranians are also losing hundreds daily by attacking in the farm land.
I did some calculations, those losses are sustainable and Ukraine can afford to lose their cannon fodder forether. We just need to keep sending them vehicles to get to the front line and some ammo.
That cannon fodder speaks Polish and Romanian these days...
...Ukraine is Russian territory...
Always has been. Just like Taiwan is part of China. It’s always crazy seeing the pro-Taiwan people here. Leftists the lot of them.
Winning might not be the right term, but we are eight months into a war it was supposed to last days and Russia controls less territory today than they did seven months and even seven weeks ago.
Obviously things are not going the way Russia thought they would.
Russia does not want territories full of rural moronic nazis. Novody wants them, including EU. They only took areas with pro-russian population. Even Mask came to the same conclusion (not a rocket science tbh). I looked at the u-kranian voting maps in February and bingo! Russians advanced right there.
...it is "winning" only in the didectic sense....
As long as there is hope, the Billion$ will flow. After laundering, those Billion$ will find their way back into campaign advertising.
