I taught us mid-30s to early-40s how to grind out games. These young whipper snappers know nothing of campaigns and spending hours and hours doing monotonous grinding to win.

Gaming in those days was almost magical.
As a kid reading tech magazines and seeing the improvements made ... no politics (or barely no politics) in games.
Remember "lost patrol" on the amiga? (never could finish it, the music is downright incredible almost haunting...)
