Have a blessed and safe trip. I hope you and your mom get to do something you both find cheerful as well. Ecclesiastes would laud your choice, but I find that very hard with out some activity that celebrates life as it is alongside, and the life to come, such as reading I Cor. 15, or the story of the Resurrection.
