Ok, some newbie posted, and some modular (thank you mods!) stickied an old qanon meme from 2018, but WITHOUT clarifying the context.
If you were around then, you may recall how there was a sense that it was all gonna come out like a flood, and we seriously were worried that normies heads would explode.
Many OG recognize the meme and the context.
Many newbies are shouting: Fake! Fake! Fake! No outside comms! This was created to discredit us! or Q! or Trump!
Sigh.
We have a history problem. New pedes need to realize that there is a history to the great awakening, and you cannot simply make safe assumptions based on what you have only learned in the last year or two.
I do think that, in general, its likely that this meme is NOW being circulated in order to discredit the Great Awakening and Q. It's what DS propaganda disinfo agents do.
No way I'd share that meme now. But, in the context of 2018, it was legit, properly motivated, and appropriate for the times. Part of how the GA got where it is today.

Working the recent post I did (did you read it?) has made me realize a few things.
In response to one pede who asserted "none of the early anons ever referred to Q as Qanon", had me digging on my hard drive, where I found an old excel file created on Nov 29, 2017, where some anon had collated all the Q content (questions, answers, expansion) up until that time. In one entry, the author wrote "This morning, qanon wrote......"
That's actual evidence.
Anyway, the realization is that I should start again archiving a lot of content. (I sort of stopped for a while, since Jan 2021.) because at some point, historical fact will need to be discussed, proven and backed up with evidence.
I've previously asked mods I think whether there is any way to rip the content off of GAW - all the posts and comments - in some archivable form, but so far no luck.
Thanks heavens that some smart cookie thought to backup the voat channels (I recall three key ones and one or two random minor ones). r/Greatawakening however, appears to be gone for good. So much historical content lost.

I do love a nice piece of pumpkin pie. I’m the only one in my wee family group who does though. I make it myself. I’ve gotten pretty good, if I may say so myself. I can bake it so the filling doesn’t crack. Before I retired, I’d bake three or four, keep one and bring the rest into work for the Thanksgiving celebration for the on-duty crew. I can do other pies too like apple, cherry and peach. I wish I had my late sister’s coconut crème pie recipe but she was a hugely experienced and excellent “dump cook” and rarely worked from written recipes. My daughter has inherited the family cooking talent and has come very close to duplicating my mother’s date and nut bread recipe.
Now, if I could only lose about fifty pounds…
Lol, we’re trying to go on a low grade keto diet ourselves. I love to bake. Do you have a pumpkin pie recipe like to share with me? I’m making Thanksgiving dinner for my daughter and my mother this year.
Sometime I make crust from scratch with flour, water and shortening but I often use store-bought to avoid the mess. For the filling, I use half pie filling and half plain packed pumpkin; it cuts down on the overpowering spice and the cloying sweetness. I use a can of each. Make the mixture as if it was fully filling mix but add an extra egg for a little lightness. Just follow the directions. You can use all plain packed pumpkin and follow the label directions but I recommend using half the spice and less sugar.
Bake in a Bain Marie, a shallow pan of water to prevent the filling from cracking.
You can use extra crust to add filagrees and decorations.

Ah, good question! I did forget to mention that. I do bake it partially to keep it crisp.
Perfect thanks for letting me know, I think that’s one of the big mistakes a lot of people make when baking pies. They don’t make the crust first, so he gets very gross and soggy. I’m going to be making that pumpkin pie this Thanksgiving. Thanks for the recipe.

Yum Yum Yum! I think lemon desserts are one of the best desserts. It’s very underestimated.
That is one of my favourites. On my last visit to Seattle my son-in-law got an awesome store bought kahlua pie, that was also yummy - well worth the calories!

Question about my local election for governor. So our governor is a RINO and I believe she may have cheated somehow in the primaries, and I don't want to vote for her. But if I don't vote for her, is that like giving a vote to the dem or libertarian running for governor? Even if I write the name of the other republican that lost in the primaries, is it like giving a vote to the other parties and away from the "republican"?
This depends if she's ahead in the polls they are showing. If the D candidate for governor has any chance of getting in, then I would say hold your nose and vote for her.
If there is a Libertarian candidate, then this person may already take many votes away from this candidate.

Me too! I just went to Lynda Blanchard's fb page to see what is going on with her lawsuit, here is what she said on August 30th:

After witnessing the voting fiasco in 2020, when elections were inaccurate in many states, I decided to join in a Mike Lindell sponsored lawsuit against Alabama’s Secretary of State’s Office for using electronic voting machines which were allegedly not secure.

Have you seen the amendments Alabama has on the voting ballots? I just saw them last night on the sample ballots, there are 10 of them. Have to look them up and read more about them.

I know I thought of that, but won't it still be the same as if I didn't vote for the republican (in this case a RINO) and took a vote away from her giving the dems another step closer to winning? I mean I doubt my one or a few votes would matter in the scheme of things but if a lot of folks don't vote for her then we could end up with someone much worse than the RINO we all know.
In the runoffs for the dems for Governor, altogether the votes came out to -Total votes: 152,692.
In the runoffs for the republicans for Governor, altogether the votes came out to - 619,938.
And it looks like in 2018 during the governor election, about 2600 votes went to write-in votes.
At least sometimes she acts like a republican, like saying the kids here won't need the coof vaxx to go to school. She just makes bad decisions (on purpose) with tax money (you know the game they play with our money), the area the state gets more revenue from is I believe down here in the south end of the state, but she uses it up in the northern part instead of putting it down here, then she wants to tax our I-10 bridge (wants to build a new bridge over the bay & tax it). It's I-10 that stretches across the whole lower part of the US. So if you needed to travel to Fl you will need to cross that bridge or go on the at water level roadway (if you know about it, if not then you think it's the only way through). She originally wanted to tax the bridge at $6 each way, can you imagine local's that have to pay that both ways to go to work? So the whole thing was canceled (even the building the new bridge), now I believe they snuck it through and will charge less but still that means every truck going through will pay and it will trickle down to costing us more at the store. Same for taking pay from people who work on one side of the bay and live on the other side. Less locals may visit the city or less people from the city visiting the beaches, which means less money being spent in the state.
It depends. If there is a 3rd party candidate that is America First, vote for them, no matter what the polls, and fraudsters tell you their "odds of winning" are. And encourage others to do the same. Always vote true to your beliefs, and never just for the sake of "winning."
However, if there are no America First candidates to vote for, who's fault is that? Answer: The Republican party establishment. That's who failed you. And that's who funded, and promoted the RINO.
In that case, see above- vote true to your beliefs. Do you want to empower the RINO party? Or do you you cast a vote to destroy the RINO party for their repeated failures by voting for the democrat most likely to defeat the establishment RINO?
Voting for a democrat sucks, for sure. But, you can at least count on the democrats to hurt the RINO party any way they can (they are nasty creatures) and more importantly, their financial backers, once in power. Pain is an effective means to alter bad behavior.
My point being this: Don't just hope for a better choice of candidates next election cycle- FORCE a better selection of candidates for next election.
