I think you're conflating a general issuing a common directive, a leader exhorting people towards a strategy and a demagogue attempting to manipulate a populace.
No one is telling you to jump off a precipice, to be a mindless drone, or to stop thinking and "obey".

We are talking about races between RINOs and Dems, where there are no obvious MAGA candidates. Clearly, Trump would endorse clean MAGA candidates in every race, if they were present. The fact that many races dont have this means we haven't reached that point yet. Its a pretty simple calculus whether you like it or not. Its called being practical.
