What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
I know they were so many responses, but you forgot mine. I was feeling left out so here it is.
Frosted Flakes! I like this option because you can put fruit on it. Bananas, strawberries, blueberries, whatever. If you’re going to have three boxes of cereal, you should be able to at least put fruit on top of it right?
Reckless love of God https://youtu.be/6xx0d3R2LoU I just love this song. And I think 50 times in one day, would fill my house with the Holy Spirit so much, that I might be floating. I especially like this version because it’s a live version along with his story. For secular music anything Avenged Sevenfold.
No no I didn't have an entry, but I observed due to its length you could only play this like 36 times in 24 hr (sorry not getting the calculator* back out)
The Orb - Blue Room full length
though Blue Man Group is uniquely awful
For a real entry I'd have to go with:
Meat Beat Manifesto - Now - "Something's got to give"
And this for the cereal
*Oh and calculator - HP35s - yeah it's not as quality as the old ones (I dropped a 32sII and it wouldn't turn back on - I should have had that fixed in retrospect) but at least I got one while they were still made. HP (and that Carly woman specifically was at fault IIRC) should be flogged for wrecking their calculator division. Non-RPN calculators (and ones without HP's nice keys, which like I say aren't QUITE there on the 35 but still mostly at least) fucking suck. Stone the bloody crows.
I am 100% picking myself up some honeycomb tomorrow, i won't let this meme be a dream!
I missed this posting. I want to add mine. Shredded wheat, fresh strawberries, a sprinkle of sugar & cold milk with either:
El Coco - Cocomotion (Slayd5000) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ox3cICTJJSU

I'm sure you've seen that picture of Boner at Epstein island with a couple teen girls on his lap
I am talking music only in this exercise, I don't care about him or his politics. That song just fills me with such emotion. I've even told my kids I'd like them to remember it so that when I die they can play it at my funeral, whenever that may be...
Great choice. I love music so much and it helps me emotionally. I’m not willing to give it up so I just ignore the artist opinions. I honestly don’t go looking for their beliefs. I’ll probably request a gospel song sung by Elvis for my funeral. I’ve told my husband anyway. Not that it matters I won’t be around to hear it. I saw a post years ago on Facebook “what’s your funeral song” That was a trippin post. Another one bites the dust was the funniest comment & more than once. A lady said she asked her husband wasn’t Another one bites the dust what he wanted. He got ticked off & say, NO, Dust in the wind.
Thanks for relisting them, I missed Mr_A's the first time around. It's now my favorite. 😃
Edit: I liked penisse's choices, and the back and forth convo. Let the man eat his bacon shrimp porridge! Plus, bonus points for Zappa.
The Zappa is interesting - he had so much stuff (and I have most of the biggies) I was like what is THAT one. Ah the classical - I'm one of those dudes that can handle classical like once in awhile, and usually like Bach concertos while cooking pancakes or something like that. I just can't handle not having like Regular Beats (or, slightly irregular ones) and a groove etc. I do find it interesting that one of the top comments on that video remarks how proud he was but if you read his book the whole symphony thing, which he tried a couple times, was overall a total fiasco and he didn't have many kind words for symphony players but he did have many pretty bad ones LOL.
(I highly recommend "The Real Frank Zappa Book" as it has lots of very interesting and of course often-hilarious stuff. "Zappa The Hard Way" is also pretty damn interesting - what a shame how that went down....)
I enjoyed how some wanted to try and lessen what's basically torture, while others went full Marquis de Sade on themselves.
I think the original is more nightcore than the nightcore version. Nightcore is supposed to be more spacey-groovey-smooth, and less chipmunk-y, right?
Well I've never heard of "nightcore" so I went to The Source -
"There are a number of subgenres that have come out of Darkwave since then including Doom Wave, Witch House, and Vaporwave, but Vaporwave isn't a genre insomuch as it's just a technique like Chopped And Screwed, Black MIDI, or Nightcore."
I'm not saying Ishkur is wrong, but I don't know if I'd get into an argument with him (pretty sure) considering this is one of the most impressive things on the entire internet.
