Layoffs are just starting, as these run rampant in recessions. Saw a report last month that 40% of small businesses in an eastern state were more than 30 days late for rent.

Nobody actually watches CNN, it's just "on" in public locations. They don't have many actual viewers.
My kids complain that the schools have it on as "current affairs".
Sounds like you need to lodge a fact based complaint.
It's not on any public TVs I've noticed in my area. The local Burger King either has Fox News or the cable company news. The last time I visited the airport in Norfolk, VA, Fox was on the TV in the baggage claim area. So CNN is missing a lot of eyeballs now.
Ratings at CNN are all BS. There is massive trouble over it and have lost tons of ad revenue. They were making bank during the plandemic because all of their ad revenue was coming from big pharma, who CCN was nothing more than a mouthpiece for Pfizer but now not so much.
Background literal noise. They make fans for that.
Guess their Big Pharma kickbacks in the form of Covid vax commercials are running out.
