BLOOD MOON. It was -20C last night, and there I was, trudging across a farmer's field in the snowy darkness, periodically holding up my phone. Is it up, now? Nope, so I walked some more, freezing my ass off, until FINALLY, my phone got signal and I was able to hit Reddit and get this pic for you!

Looks like the blood moon is orange. Even the moon stands with Trump.
-20C? Why were you walking around in METRIC weather?
Canada :)
Wanna hear something crazy? YOU live under a "metric" system, too. That's what a "mile" is. It's actually a mille, which is 1000 paces. I learned this in Egypt.
Damn, Egyptians have some long legs.
That's true, isn't it. Wait. Since a mile is someting like 5800 feet, maybe it's a full walk, left/right, taken as one step?
A pace would definitely be two steps, yes. A mile is 5,280 feet. I was reminded by a cop who pulled me over and let me get a warning if I could calculate my rate of speed in feet/second. 5,280 x 64 mph divided by 60 minutes divided by 60 seconds = 93.866 feet per second. No problem, thanks officer!
Sask or Alberta?
Nice.. Thank you..
I watched it live last night from my back yard.
Good job!
Absolutely awesome capture! Thanks for posting!
Just to be clear (this is a joke title) I got this off Reddit. I was holding up my phone to get Internet signal. LOL
Oh, I missed that! Still an awesome photo! :-)
Beauty!
Cloudy here in Texas
Why bother? We all know that Reddit will get the shot 1,000,000% better than we ever could. I'm surprised there's not a perfect crossing of the ISS and NASA's super-secret X-37B also flying across the moon, here!
Thanks for sharing. It was too foggy to see the blood moon here in the mountains.
What kind of camera is this, a p900?
The Reddit image-stealer 9000 :D
Great job, I was awake at 5 am, but too lazy to get up and go see the red moon! I figured someone would take a pic. Thanks!
Good shot.
Looks like you captured Venus as well.
SHHH. I hardly know you!
You sure that's not Jupiter? I think it is still visible from when it was "close".
Nice picture. Thanks.
Gorgeous shot
Hey c5, that little white dot at the bottom left of the moon...is that Uranus?
<running like hell, laughing> 😂🤣😂

I thought the blood moon was tonight?
It was early this morning.
Cool that you got to see it.
