My friends and I have been blessed to live in a state that has been an (almost) perfect bastion of freedom, and a defender of law and order.
"Governor DeSantis, you CANNOT protect Florida from DC. Only a Governor can protect people locally. Stay and fight for the people who just put you in office."
Relax. This whole Trump vs DeSantis thing is part of the plan. Trump will be back. If DeSantis is anything other than FL Gov he'll be Trump's VP.
I have no doubt that Trump will be back. I'd prefer that it was an 'undisputed' return.
And the easiest and quickest way to stop the MSM's plan of 'splitting MAGA' is for Ron to 'signal' his intention to complete his second term.
The good news is that this situation highlights how important Governors are, in the effort to thwart Federal tyranny.
I believe he did signal this in a debate with Charlie. When asked about presidential aspirations, DeSantis said something along the lines of "The only washed-out old donkey I'm looking to keep out of power is you (Charlie C)." Sounds like a clear signal to me.
Just read the first few paragraphs of this and RD has dispelled the notion before, but MSM is just pushing their narrative anyway.

Don’t see this happening. Desantis had the opportunity literally served up to him on a silver platter in the debate and didn’t take it. There is no doubt he is eyeing the GOP nomination. There is no hidden agenda or secret messages. Trump versus Desantis is likely coming.
"...Trump's VP."
Going with Lake here... and then she'll be the U.S. first female POTUS
we want 4 more years of Don then 8 of Ron! but neither has even announced they're running yet, so i'll wait til then to draw conclusions
I completely agree.
Trump created the MAGA and 'America First' movement.
Without this movement, (almost) none of the 'America First' candidates would ever have been elected.
Loyalty is important.
"Dance with the one that brought ya."
Gov. DeSantis doesn't strike me as a man that will cut and run on his duties. Let the DS continue to try to run their psy ops.
Time will tell if DeSantis is on the payroll of DS or not.
That's a really good point. "For everything, there is a season..."
I sure don't support a presidential run for DeSantis and without trumps endorsement t I wouldn't cast a vote for him.
I think there may be a lot of Rinos, Democrats and DS shits that would love to see DeSantis run because A. they want someone other than Trump, B. he would not have near the knowledge and background to save us and C. they may think they could corrupt fresh meat.
Remember Sarah Palin. Some Alaskans haven't forgiven her yet for leaving the governorship to run for national office.
Was just thinking this. What a slap in the face for FL republicans who supported DeSantis, only for him to turn his back on them to pursue loftier goals. Guess serving the people of FL isn’t good enough for him
I'm not convinced he's 'slapping' anyone or 'turning his back', but I'm sure he's constantly hearing about the 'loftier goals'.
Protecting an entire state IS a lofty goal.
Plus, we need MAGA spread out throughout the country, not just concentrated in DC.
I love this new generation of 'America First' leaders.
Not yet he isn’t, but if he runs in 2024 he most certainly is
I rather have Kari as VP than Ron ‘DeSanctimonious’
Welcome to politics. You must be new.
