Does anyone wonder why Trump is waiting so late in the evening to make his big announcement? Maybe because of time difference between Florida (eastern time) compared to pacific time, which would be 6pm when it’s 9 pm eastern time. But I was wondering why he doesn’t make his announcement in the middle of the day.
Exactly the reason you stated, he's going live in prime time. The most available audience nation wide.

Gives most people on the west coast time to get home from work and hear it live rather than getting flooded with secondhand info before watching the recording (if they even bother after hearing "someone else said that he said...")
Do we know if NBC, ABC, CNN or CBS are carrying it as well? Why do I doubt that. Like is the only place to see this going to be on Right Side Broadcasting?

Sorry, not all night shifters are commies. I've worked nights for years, in hospitals. We are 24 hour a day jobs.
Hence the "most" qualifier, most people don't work the night shift in general.
Think about us poor souls in UK this will be at 2 am our time, will have to wait till tomorrow morning to find out.
