Marijuana is nice but it has its drawback which are supressed in the mainstream for some reason..
THC is in the same family as LSD. It is a psychoactive. I have a friend that is schizophrenic and he had to quit smoking weed. Was a longtime habitual user. Weed triggers his episodes.
My cousin also has schizophrenia and can not smoke anymore. Same reason.
I also have had bad experiences with THC making me hullucinate, I am very psychoactive sensitive. This is coming from a recriational weed, shroom and LSD user.
I have to really watch my dosage, and I can't smoke weed habitually. Instead, I use it as needed. Like a medicine.
Usually when Im super stressed or just pissed off. Or socially.. If Im having a panic attack tho, itll make it so much worse. And I certainly will have a hallucinogenic episode. (My panic attacks trigger those already)
I can't even think about edibles. And Don't get me started on CBD. That shit can have horrible side effects too. Like suicidal depression.
^ That actually has some reserch on it if your interested.
Point is. All things in moderation. The guy was making a joke. Its pretty funny. Lefties tend to make weed their whole personality and use it way too much.
The difference between a poison and medicine is dosage.
Duuuuude, that's just like, your opinion maaaaaan.
Schizophrenia and weed do not mix, that is a well known fact. Other than that itβs just like anything else, in moderation, and it can be very helpful to people who are open to giving it a shot
Today's weed is not like the weed of my youth. It is waaaay more potent. Kids now, have no idea how mellow pot used to be. And even weaker, it gave me a panic attack. And dabs? Holy shit. I don't know how people use weed all the time and function. Engineered pot... I am sure it can be dangerous.
Have an upvote. Weed smokers tend to make difficult any critical discussion of "God's most important plant medicine".
Dude they do get sooo defensive about it haha. I don't get it.
If someone is that sensitive about something then its probably not healthy for them and they dont want to aknowledged it.
The issue I have is the THC products are bred, cultivated, processed and consumed like a drug. Maximum THC, minimum CBD.
The CBD products are bred, cultivated, processed and consumed more like a medicine. Minimal THC, maximum CBD.
And no one is really trying to grow the 50/50 low potency plant that is infact natural and healthy and balanced, just not easily enjoyable. Good medicine is usually bitter -- if we want to actually talk about God's plants, God's plants as they are, are not nearly as conducive to addiction or disruption of users. Not like the modified shit we make.
Sometimes progress is not progress
People can drink as much as they want at whatever potency up to death. That's how it should be with weed. The difference is that weed won't take your life. The addiction potential is far lower, also.
Selective and vast breeding has made weed stronger along with modern cultivation methods. Plenty of organic growers out there.
started
interested.
"CBD oil Made me Feel Worse"
A biochemical breakdown of CBD for reference
CBD and its link to Suicidal thoughts
A Harvard report on CBD and it's side effects
I and two friends have had similar experiences to the article ontop. One had the suicidal bout.
However. I know plenty of people who take CBD and THC in excess daily and feel fine.
I think its all brain chemistry, but the bottom line is we know practically nothing about CBD yet its sold over the counter in high doses as a miricle drug. Same goes for THC.
This just needs to be talked about so people are more informed and aren't caught off guard.
Im an herbalist and naturalist at heart. No drug, herb, or medicine is perfect and without side effects.
I have also heard this before and I understand the "hemp cures everything" perspective. I know it's a wonderful herb with much lost knowledge so I'm very glad you shared this with me, thank you. Looking forward to researching further.
