I am afraid there is no way to avoid it at this point. We will experience an economic, political, and societal colapse and a strongman will emerge to put the pieces back together. We can hope that it is a relatively benevolent strongman, but history would suggest that is a thin hope. We are already in a very bad place and it is getting worse every month. It will be a miracle if this doesn't get resolved through violence.

Moreover, if there is violence, this gives the excuse for police to respond violently.
For the past few weeks I've been watching the commission investigating the declaration of the Emergencies Act in Canada, which was the government response to the trucker protests. This is going very badly for the government. After 4-5 weeks of testimony it is clear that the threshold for declaring the Act was not even close to being met.
Most of the representatives for the various government entities are more concerned with CYA than anything else, but at every opportunity, they will claim that the violence of the truckers caused the government response. When pressed on this issue, rather than actual physical violence, the "violence" they are actually referring to is honking and diesel fumes.
All that to say that the government is praying for violence so that a heavy-handed response can be justified.
The issue is what happens when its over.
There will be hundreds of factions wanting power. That is a bad place to be.

OK. I VOTE FOR TRUMP.

Again β¦ at 3 million strong, that government awaiting justification to respond with violence will quickly be dispatched. QUICKLY.
