I think it fits right in. It has a few key assumptions that are independent of Q, but it's all well reasoned and evidence-backed. Though it went into pure speculation territory somewhere around installment 6 or 7, the basic theory could be correct.
Yeah, I think he got lost in his own rabbit hole. Either that, or somebody convinced him to throw a curveball to the clown media. I want to find a good bridge between devolution and the Old Republic (pre-Organic Act of 1870), but no luck so far.

Second... about 5 to 6 weeks ago on one of the Wednesday night Devolution Power Hour broadcasts where Jon had just begun having Burning Bright on as a regular co-host, Jon remarks to Burning Bright that he has only read and studied "The Memo", the document that is the reported reason that H.R. McMaster fired Rich Higgins from his position on the NSC, and that he (Jon) really should go back and read more of Higgin's work. No remarks since then that he has done so, read any thing more than "The Memo."
Burning Bright states in this exchange that he see's stylistic similarities in Higgins "The Memo" and Q drops and believes that if not Q, Higgins was a part of the the Q team in some capacity.

No sauce for the second comment above other than memory. I noted the exchange at the time... fact of Jon's statements about not reading Q because he does not want to bias (his word / "taint" is what I think he is afraid of) his focus and analysis on the Devolution theory.
