Ditto. I’m over 60 and feel I will never see a penny of what I have contributed since I started working at age 14. In a perfect world I would love to see everyone get their initial investment back (with interest) to let us manage our own money and do away with Social Security all together. The government has never managed anything better than the private sector, ever.
So anyone want to guess when it goes belly up? Even though I can retire in a few or so years, I doubt I’ll see anything from it.
