Go to Google.com. Not your favorite search engine, but specifically google.com.

I got this message:
It looks like the results below are changing quickly. If this topic is new, it can sometimes take time for reliable sources to publish information Check the source Are they trusted on this topic? Come back later Other sources might have more information on this topic in a few hours or days
That is NOT a search engine. That is a propaganda engine.
What are their current "trusted sources?"

So, they have 1 legit link in the top 6, and the rest are propaganda or distraction.
Google engages in fraud. Pretending to be a search engine, but instead is a propaganda company.
Anyone who spends money adverstising on their platform might have a good legal case for deceptive trade practices.
What's additionally scary is that their marketing division is changing the value proposition to its clientele. An overly simplified version -- everything in Googles marketing function was based on volume. Pay Google = drive traffic. That value proposition has since changed, and by extension how companies target you and how Google now makes its money in marketing.
Now it has moved to "value based" marketing. This is above and beyond affinity based/ interest based marketing as this assigns a value, a dollar amount, to you, as a person [potential customer] which indicates to the company how much money you'll spend with them. This can only be done if they have a ton of information on you enough to feed prediction algorithms. The targeting algorithm has also been updated to target people based on "intent signals" (of which they analyze a bazillion different signals in real time) that indicate this person is going to spend $x pay Google to get $x money.
If you read through and don't really think this is a big deal, or didn't quite get the significance of this, the largest marketing machine on this planet -- which is essentially the biggest psychological influence machine and data collector on this planet -- one where other companies follow its lead has changed its most profitable division, and now makes money by assigning you (a human) a dollar amount, as your value/ worth to companies. It's one step closer to putting the cow collar on and fully being cattle.
Google is no longer a search engine in this sense but a market place with a captive audience that is unaware that they're in a market place.
There's a reason why you can't find shit on Google, even if it has nothing to do with politics or "conspiracy" about medicine, schools, the economy, etc. Google allows the highest bidder to control their visibility, like you explained. You could be the first person in the world that made a discovery or have an invention, even if its not that beneficial to mankind, but unless you pay someone off or blackmail yourself (sacrifice your identity to be a puppet in their play), no one would ever know, and they would blacklist you the moment you tried. Its by design. They control the biggest information suppository in history. They aren't interested in REAL education, they are paid by the government to control information. The Corporate USA might i add.
There was a time, though, when you could, as hard as that might be to believe. The devs at Google themselves got blackmailed into what they are doing, and i am certain we are soon to find out what it was.
Exactly this!
And there a reason too why most of the devs have been replaced by those here on visas or have been outsourced too.
I use it for recipes only. Try to find information on products and you get nada but click bait. It's in reality an awful "search" engine.
