Our government routinely lies to us. Every damned agency, bureaucrat, and politician are damned liars. Don't ever believe any of them, that's the basic rule.
Also, if you look up Ivermectin on Amazon, they are STILL putting the FDA warning (Not for treatmenf of COVID!) at the top of every page.

Okay, so then make it available over the counter (OTC). Allow it to be distributed in the hospital under “right to try” before giving remdesevir. Remove licenses of pharmacists and doctors who will not dispense and will not subscribe ivermectin.
To be absolutely fair, they didn't issue a statement that said "don't use this drug!"
Instead, they 1) recommended against it 2) used shame tactics to convince you that its use is against your better judgement and 3) convinced other individuals to exhibit social pressure against you.
All while major drug manufacturers claimed that their vaxx was "safe (for whom?) and effective (at stopping what?)" to use.

I'm still going to take the neutral side. They're advising against its usage, but never tell you directly to not take a medication.
Even with the explicit language in the final bullet point, it's still framed within the context of "why you shouldn't take IVM." (But you can absolutely take other medicine to abort your baby.)

As an aside, it astounds me how much wiggle-room there is in the CDC's language:
"In some instances, [unprescribed drugs] can be highly dangerous..."
"Currently available data do not show ivermectin is effective against COVID-19."
"The most effective ways to limit the spread of COVID-19 include getting a COVID-19 vaccine when it is available to you and following current CDC guidance."
And the CDC website included Ivermectin right after Remdesivir in the list of treatments when I looked a year ago, but at that exact same time, I had friends in the hospital with Covid who could not get Ivermectin because of pressure being put on the doctors and pharmacists by the system that they worked in. I guess they think it gives them deniability because they can claim that they never say that we could not use it.
But in checking the CDC webpage to find that list of treatments, I found this incredibly hypocritical statement (https://emergency.cdc.gov/han/2021/han00449.asp): "Clinical trials and observational studies to evaluate the use of ivermectin to prevent and treat COVID-19 in humans have yielded insufficient evidence for the NIH COVID-19 Treatment Guidelines Panel to recommend its use. Data from adequately sized, well-designed, and well-conducted clinical trials are needed to provide more specific, evidence-based guidance on the role of ivermectin in the treatment of COVID-19." But they'll give you an "experimental vaccine." God! These people are beyond belief!
