Slowly the world awakes to this new reality. I'd like to say I feel vindicated in not being vaccinated or boosted, but the human cost of the vaxx'es is just too high to take delight over it.
I disagree. The mental fortitude required, to this day, to remain completely unvaccinated against covid, is a remarkable feat worthy of throwing in everyone's face who laughed at us as we tried to warn them. Sorry, is what it is. We tried. I tried. They made their own beds.
And we were called crazy and anti-science and conspiracy theorists...just for saying “ I never run out and get the FIRST version of anything...phone, car, computer, OP System”
Ridicule...derision...eye rolls and huffiness from people who have known you for decades.
You made your beds...SO SMART and well-educated...and the RIGHT (correct and allowed) political attitudes. Couldn’t even consider the possibility that you were wrong...or maybe should look into it more...or wait for a few months...
Agree! Taking More Time to Look into this Matter & Waiting Just a few More Months Until the Initial Reports, Would Have Been Prudent! Hindsight Unfortunately is Always 20/20!..................................... Proverbs-14:15, "The Naive Person Believes Every Word, But the Shrewd One Ponders Each Step." Proverbs-22:3,27:12, "The Shrewd One Sees the Danger and Conceals Himself, But the Inexperienced Keep Right on Going and Suffer the Consequences!"[email protected]
"When it goes well with the righteous, the city rejoices, and when the wicked perish there are shouts of gladness." - Proverbs 11:10
"Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel?" - Ezekiel 33:11
Oh yes, I experienced being ostracized and criticized for my stand, but I didn't waver. I've always been willing to go my own way, no matter what. I'll say this, the covid fiasco helped me to see who my real friends were and who I could do without, so I guess I'm grateful for that.

Being vindicated is not the same as or to be confused with gloating.
For the record, I have nothing against gloating either.
Scripture would suggest we not call them fools and delight in their misery, difficult as this may be.

Exactly what I was saying...
I disagree with that.
And always remember how catty, nasty and just plain bitchy they were when you didn't hand your fate over to them.
