Government, "It's not like we told you that you MUST take the jab to stop the spread, shop, dine, work, travel, go to school, generally function in society or protect grandma. We also didn't tell you to not ask questions or challenge "the science". And we never said it was safe and effective. Gees, it was EXPERIMENTAL ["EUA" means NO ONE is liable, "duh"] and there was plenty info about potential side effects - all you had to do was read the [blank] product insert, ask your healthcare provider or research it on the internet. How stupid are you? You willingly and knowingly consented to inject the stuff into your veins and you expect us to take responsibility or help you? No, no, no, no! It's YOUR fault if it harms/kills you."
Well, the EUA grants immunity from liability to the manufacturer, but not to politicians or private businesses.
I have been expecting this sort of legal defense, however. "We never forced anyone", which would be medical coercion. It was "informed consent" that people decided on their own to take an experimental gene therapy thinking it was a safe, approved vaccine.
However, fraud vitiates everything... plus the companies that coerced employees with mandates will try to blame the government for their actions. Quite a mess.
Edit: also I and others are mixing up rules in the US vs. the legal system in India. The EUA etc. applies to the US. I don't know the situation in India, which was the topic of the post.

Yeah, sounds about right.
The government didn't mandate vaccines in India. Not like this in India. It is the employers co-workers forced you to get one.
A lot of governments used the backdoor of employer mandates to do their dirty work. Something similar happened in the U.S.

That is where the emergency powers come into play.
When you put it like that, it kinda is their fault.
