That sounds like an out of context piecing that libs like to do... He said that Hitler has accomplished some good for his people, which is true, and that he loves everyone.
I wonder if Kanye is directed to make AJ show look bad and lose even more credibility. May have told K "hey, go on there and just do a stream of consciousness bit and let aJ try to respond".
When K was on Tucker, he gave measured thoughtful responses, and that is how Tucker usually conducts his interviews. He's on AJ, and, true to form, AJ always throws in double edged compliments, side remarks, etc. Kanye and AJ talking like couple of guys ribbing each other in a casual manner. AJ is not a serous interviewer, nor will he shut up. Kanye is well aware that the "yes I love Hitler' sound bite is going to get parsed and publicized around the world. He's not stupid, nor crazy. I wonder if this is a distraction for something coming up in the next couple of days in order to hog the 24 to 48 hour news cycle.
Whether Ye is a BH or a WH is not crystal clear, tbh, but going under the assumption he's a good guy, here's how I read this. ...
Ye appears to be a devout, newer Christian struggling with not only understanding it all, but staying on the righteous path. He feels he's called now to speak out and he's not exactly adept at doing so. (More on this in a minute). This 'I love Hitler' was taken out of context and I agree with you there, u/JessWithTheMess. This is a concept that probably comes from "Love your enemy", like that espoused by Bob Marley in his "One Love" song. (And, btw, the clip with a picture of Bob Marley may have been a manipulation to make a connection to this end). In fact, in one of those clips Ye makes the distinction between the person and the demon that's whispering in their ear in an attempt to steer them towards evil, used his own ex wife as an example. Redemption for all, separating the person from the demons that control them. At least that's how I saw this, but it very well could have been a psyop or some other theatrics.
I'm just trying to hear the signal through the noise here (and I'm truly tired of all the neverending friggin noise, frankly). I haven't yet watched the entire podcast (and not sure I'll bother), watched just snippets provided, not in any particular order, so I may be out in left field here. All that said, Ye should step back and assess what just happened. He freely admits that his communication skills aren't the best. If he is a WH trying to express things he doesn't yet seem to be able to clearly, he needs to understand that the fake news will take any snippet of what he says, twist it, take it out of context and paint a very ugly picture of his message. I don't think you have to be a rocket scientist to understand that what he said about Hitler was going to be plucked from everything else he said and highlighted to his detriment. Perhaps it was meant to do so as several anons here seem to think. I don't know.
If Ye is a WH he probably shouldn't be going on shows like AJ's in the first place. As the flap from "the dinner" got underway, POTUS said something along the lines that Ye is a disturbed individual. The msm will try and link Trump to this SS, but he pretty much already preempted that particular attack. mho. Now let's all watch the resulting fireworks. . .

I love how you think one of the most prolific and celebrated rappers has a communication problem.
Probably because he said so in one of these clips.
He said multiple times "I love Hitler" even after Alex Jones gave him every out not to. Did you not watch it yourself?
