What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
Some of you may remember my comments on previous General Chats about the trouble I got into while still battling my drinking - I'd just like to follow up that my sentencing finally came on the 5th, and because I have been doing so well with my recovery they agreed to my plea for probation, so it went good and I can breathe a little easier
I also received my 5 month sober chip the same day
I had gastric bypass several years ago and can drink nothing. I get very sick very fast. I never had a problem with alcohol but I don't understand why this would not be a cure for drinking.
Aside from wanting to quit there's very few things that'll stop you. I had multiple hospitalizations from pancreatitis and I still found my way back to the bottle
Congrats! Well, done! It seems like the Lord is Blessing you for being faithful. Keep your eyes on him.
Congratulations, you are a miracle, never forget that. One day at a time you get yourself back. If you follow the 12 steps, nothing life throws at you will defeat your spirit, it may try, but as they say in the rooms, keep it simple, go to meetings, your story helps another drunk get sober. Between God, yourself, and other sober alcoholics, you will find serenity, hope, and usefulness. May God Bless you and stay in your life.
Awesome job fren. It isn't easy. Congrats.
It's hard to break any habit so congrats....alcohol especially hard as the herd is brainwashed to be so admiring of drunks... competitions who can poison themselves the quickest etc..make the snazziest cocktail out of so many different neurotoxins etc all encouraged and fostered by tavistock institute. to regard alcohol as growing up..being a man..bragging he drank so and so under the table...
I was involved in helping alcoholics recover years ago and it's not easy. See the brainwashing and conditioning for what it is...just that...similar to the jab in so many ways..humans are sociable loving and they want to fit in and have company and a few drinks seem to loosen the inhibitions and even shy people can chip in and make a joke... People did the same with the jab ..they ask how many have you had etc.. at one time GA was consumed by it..no other topic really.
Trump's brother died young..an alcoholic...Trump never drinks.
Stiffen your willpower by knowing big pharma is disappointed you are not joining the ranks who die young and very sick...
Try to look back..when you first were attracted to have a drink? Was it a desire to copy someone you admired? On the movies? Once you change that picture and put in another .you how you want to be......you are home and dry.
Brilliant you are with supportive friends...
Kudos
