What is this thread all about?
Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.
Does not need to be Q related.
1940’s, represents both feminine and masculine. No guessing like there is now.
I agree! 1940's & 1950's...classic designs! 💕
Hmmmm, it would have to be for dress up, not everyday, not for my lifestyle. For dress up, and for not real history, I loved the costuming in Game of Thrones, for men and women, would that be medieval ?
I am watching Murdoch mysteries right now, and I love these type of clothes. It’s around the same timeline the late 1800s to the early 1900s. People didn’t have a lot of clothes, but the clothes that they did have, were actually handmade for that person. Things fit properly, instead of trying to find something to fit at a clothing store these days.
I think the word for the style is Renaissance Fashion, Elizabethan, it's just too gorgeous, uncomfortable as hell, but for costume, I think it's the most beautiful thing that has been done with cloth in the Western World, Europe, Spain and Germany. For real life, who ever made Carhart clothing for small women,? Thank you.
Wild West ... jeans, tees, flannels and long duster coats, and work boots
That is ok for men, but I think not for women.
Most women I know would prefer jeans & tees ;)
I would stay here because literally any style is possible. So many niches and retro genres coexist just fine against normcore and utility wear
One thing I would do though...thanos snap pajamas out of existence. I hate going to the mall or groceries and seeing people in fleece sleep pants covered in cartoons and outright sleep shirts. There is a difference between athleisure and pjs..and I wish people understood one is acceptable and the other needs to stay home.
I’ve actually seen men wear sweats to church, without wearing any type of underwear to maintain their genitals. It is so disgusting, and distracting. Disrespectful to the entire congregation.
Say it PepeSee!!
same here, the lockdowns ruined a lot of social standards.
