I grew up right when internet culture was peaking, when classic music like Faded and creators like Imagine Dragons were at their peak.
Unfortunately, I can't find hardly any music since I only heard them in meme videos on Discord or on Reddit. Does anyone have good nostalgic playlists for me to listen to? Good music like Tom Macdonald, classic country, "gaming" music, anyone between 13 and 24 should know exactly what I am talking about.
Trying to get over the flu in abject silence is untenable. Music heals the body, and I've never had a spotify playlist or anything. I just want those good vibes I got when I was playing cracked minecraft, io games, and watching paulsoaresjr teach YouTube how to play Minecraft. Before all of the woke BS and cringey pseudomusic. I can explain further if anyone needs, I suppose. I'm just tired.
"...like Faded and creators like Imagine Dragons?"
OMW, go back to playing with your toddler blocks. "Old music" is Frank Sinatra, Perry Como, the Andrew Sisters, Bing Crosby, Eddie Cochran, Hank Williams, and maybe, even maybe Elvis. Young people like myself appreciated these artists. It gave us the real music of all times. The only people who "Imagine[d] Dragons were those Timothy Leary followers. 😊😊
I'm sorry you feel that way. I was raised in a Christian household so I only heard a little contemporary and virtually no 50s-90s. I hope that someone else understands. I can't be the only guy that feels like this. Where we go one we go all.
I thought I heard those alphabet blocks being stacked. Please note the SMILEY faces as before. 😊😊 Ergo, I'm shhhhh, pulling you leg. This is not the same as shakin' a leg. (Elvis)
I'm so sorry you were so sheltered! Can I recommend Willie's Roadhouse on SiriusXM (at the risk of someone on here not liking it!) because you cannot beat old country music. If you don't have access to Sirius, get a free pandora account and create your own station with Johnny Paycheck, Buck Owens, Waylon Jennings,, Hank Jr, and Patsy Cline!
Beyond that, please do yourself a favor and create another station with classical music!! Beethoven, Mozart, Locatelli, Vivaldi, Mendolssohn, and Chopin. Your world will never bee the same if you give them time and attention.
💜
I was jamming to Jimmie Rodgers on 78s earlier. Is that old school enough?
Who's that? How about Earl Scruggs or Lester Monroe?
Who was Jimmie Rodgers? I'm shocked.....
Yes, so am I. Wait a moment. OMW, I thought I was having a heart attack. I'm not vax☠xed. I'm okay....... 😊😊
Peter, Paul, and Mary. And they were never disciples.
I can't find anything. I know the music exists but its so obscure. Its used mainly in meme videos, gaming, and those vibe playlists with people like Barnes Courtney and artists I don't even know. Since I never watched them. I just need vibe music.
Also go to youtube( i know!) And find the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack
The Shawshank Redemption sound track is good too.
What about WAP by Cardi B 😂
LOL
Youtube music has a decent library, Bandcamp is nice too and features independent artists.
Gave up on modern music a few years ago and went backwards. Found that 70's ACDC and Waylon is all you need. Recommend going to youtube and listening to the Dreaming My Dreams album.
I am lucky enough to have saved ALL my vinyl and still have a turntable. I also wonder what my grandchildren and great grandchildren will wonder what it all is when I push up daisies. 🤣
I'm in your age window here and I know that what you're talking about are certainly not classics...
Hell, I'd argue anything in the modern era isn't "classic" especially from the 70s on but I guess it's all subjective, people like to use the word loosely as something being "classic to them". A classic to me is something timeless and definitely not what you're talking about, just my two cents there...
ANYWAY I'm sure you can find these things on YouTube if you dig around. Just use whatever plugins people are talking about or simply use brave browser to do it otherwise you'll be inundated with ads... I don't like being a brave browser pusher but it definitely works to zap out a ton of the noise with all the ads... I'd probably use a different burner account while building out playlists on there while blocking all the ads though.
I just need me some Johnny Rebel and I'm good.
I still have all my old 80s CDs. Metallica, Aerosmith, etc. Lotsa goodies.
I use Accuradio pretty often at home. They seem to have a channel for damn near anything. This one (2010s Alternative) might have some things you're looking for, although it does throw in the occasional 2019 song that nobody wants to hear. In that case, you can just block the artist or song.

If you want healing music, try classical. I’m serious. This will get you started. I was into country, metal but it was making anxiety much worse. It will energize you. It will take you places. It will calm and heal you. Trust me. 17.22 mins
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=E9PiL5icwic (I feel like this should be a GAW anthem- starts out with individual musical voices, highlighting almost every modern orchestral instrument, steady, repetitive, but building to something magnificent in the end. The crescendo.)
And this is the Simón Bolívar Venezuelan youth orchestra before their country went to complete shit. I listen to this about once a week. You’ll see why.

I have a huge play list- but for me being 57 years old- when you say Classic Country- it means artists like- Gary Stewart, Charlie Pride, The Oakridge Boys, John Anderson, George Strait and of Course the Highway Men/The Outlaws.... then you have "gaming" music (I started PC gaming at 30ish..and still game today) was STP, RHCP, Limp Bizkit... You should also try something like great music from someone like "Sons of the Pioneers" which is super classic.. sorry you got the flu and if you like to hear new things, you should search for the best male vocalist from Australia, his name is Adam Harvey.. the best female vocalist in my opinion is "Beccy Cole".. give them a try they are wonderful and super cheeky and fun-
Look up the Ink Spots greatest hits
Try this -Kavinsky -Drive soundtrack https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ai1g9qWSW5I&t=34s

I know it's not quite what you're asking for, but 70s-80's jazz-fusion, especially Japanese, has been hitting the spot for me personally. If you're interested, the Youtube channel Terminal Passage has a lot of great albums uploaded.
EDIT: This album, specifically, I highly recommend.
do you like Michael Jackson? his music always puts me in a good mood and he was friends with President Trump/he definitely knew about the cabal, the sign on Neverland was shaped like a Q. some fun disco & 80s music too; the Bee Gees were raised Christian & friends with Michael Jackson/music is positive, good background music.
