It absolutely can be an illness. If it’s that severe perhaps you should seek a good therapist to hopefully learn the underlying trauma that causes it. This is a sincere suggestion. Either way, the best of luck to you.
It is worse than admitted here. I don't trust therapists and unknown to me mental health guys (for good reason). My trust is in God alone. I believe in His healing power.
It probably depends on how close you are to a big expensive city but in the Chicago area it’s $125-$150 a session and many reduce the price based on financials. Best you might do without insurance is probably $80-$100, is my guess.
My treatment provider already knows me +my malady+it's causes+circumstances intimately, as He is Allknowing+Creator of All, including the creation of me+those expensive excellent counselors.
I think I will stick with Him. Thanks for participating in my treatment for good with your prayers.
Yes, but it's not mispelled. They just used the wrong word. ...if they'd used the correct word, it would have been spelled right. I have a pet peeve too, about seemingly educated intelligent people saying " they could care less". It DOES make me think they are stupid. I probably have a mistake I make repetitiously, too, without realizing it.
Its legitimate no doubt. There's something to wanting to be perfect and wanting others to be perfect as well. Prey for discernment on whats really important. Leftists will focus on grammar as a way to say see this person is stupid. It is used as a wedge issue stemming from perceived intellectual superiority. It's pride. Plain and simple. Ask God to help you with that. Prayer sent.
At the end of the day, grammar is important, but not really. Language changes over time, and shouldn't be viewed as an ever unchanging law. Clearly it isn't. Wouldn't be surprised if there and their and they're dont get combined to be written as theyr in 100 years.
In the actual filing, or the GP article about the filing? I noticed the same thing and shuddered. Just finished going thru the actual 70 page filing and it appeared to be perfect legalese punctuation and spelling. I think GP was in such a hurry to post a 'Breaking' story it was rife with errors.
I empathize. But you know what bothers me more? It's the speech impediment that appears on TV regularly....especially news anchors and weather reporters. No one teaches kids how to speak any longer in grade school -- and those who speak professionally don't care enough to learn the rules of enunciation. I'm so tired of people adding an "sh" sound to "st" words. "Shtory," "conshtruction," "shtreet," etc. I could go on and on, but that would make it worse for me.
My brain is wired in such a way that if I hear a word that doesn't immediately make sense to me, I stop, and rewind the sentence to figure out what's wrong...and I end up missing what comes afterwards because I'm stuck on some idiot making new rules for the English language. When I search on this, at least it's comforting to find out that I'm not the only one noticing.
Me two.
But please set loose the truth so we cannot lose.
"The TRUTH shall set you free."
"God wins."
It happens.

Please pray for all involved in this situation.
There are some excellent therapists out there and sometimes they are hard to find. The Lord can help you and guide you to the right one as well.
How much do the excellent ones charge?

Hmmm.

Best wishes, may God be with you.
Me, too. I am constantly biting my tongue so I don't post corrections on all the errors I see all day. My tongue is ragged.

Auto correct did that one to me the other day, I had to go back and manually edit it to “there”

I think you are right that it was the article and not the filing (whew!).
Here is the sentence from the article...
Yes, when I find it.
I may have been wrong about it being in the filing. Still searching there.
Here is the sentence where I saw it in the Gateway Pundit article...
The one in Lake’s filing was intentional. The question is what it means.

I hear you! Praying for all of us. Thanks.
Grammar is easily fucked up by the use of virtual keyboards and suggestive ai.
And using spellcheck in place of proofreading.
I like human involvement in perfection rather than machines.
"When perfection comes, the imperfect disappears."
It's Biblical (1 Corinthians 13).
now you made me say underwear
Praying+praising God for you particularly.
