I'm a huge Trump supporter and I typically defend most of his decisions. This one was just plain stupid. I don't mean the cards are stupid - I mean putting out two big things that deserve their own press cycle on the same day is beyond stupid. Doing it right after the whole FTX debacle was tone deaf.
The Internet Bill of Rights (or whatever that will be called) was gigantic and deserved the full media cycle. It stood on its own, but was drowned out by the really bad idea of hyping a major announcement and then releasing digital trading cards. It invited the media to do exactly what u/purkiss80 showed in the graphic at the top, and frankly Trump deserved every bit of that. If his team wanted to capitalize on the anniversary of the Bill of Rights then they should've delayed the cards until later - or brought them out weeks before that announcement. In fact the official site says you can start requesting free entries for the contest on 11/28 - over 2 weeks ago.
The trading cards are actually an excellent idea and I'm not a big fan of NFTs at all. Personally I would've released them much slower and maybe via a lottery-like system so people would have a fair chance at buying them. Maybe this will get the interest from younger voters and crypto investors - it is new and different in the political world. He can even issue more every few months/quarters - especially now that the first issue sold out so quickly and some are selling for thousands of dollars already. I get that he wanted them out for Christmas gifts, but again - Thanksgiving would have been the PERFECT time for that. People would have been talking about that (good or bad) with their families and it would have generated a lot of press.
I'd love to know who made the decision to release both things on the same day. If that person is running his campaign it is not a good sign, and he has had a few "issues" with campaign managers in the past...
I mostly agree with you on this, but my thinking is taking into account that candidates are different. Trump would have different sets of people around him. Some would be campaign people that are responsible for getting him reelected, while others (assuming the Plan is real and still in place) would be government and can't be involved with the campaign people to any real extent. The campaign people would very likely know nothing about any existence of a plan, and even if they did know the concept of Q they couldn't be involved.
It is entirely possible for us to trust the plan, but at the same time his campaign people could do something stupid that conflicts with whatever the Q team is doing or has planned. Q can plan all they want, but as soon as some campaign staffer tells some reporter that the campaign is planning XYZ it could be too late to change that.
Lets say Q plans a full-out raid on the 7th floor of the FBI on Jan 1. The campaign knows nothing about that, and they commit Trump to a holiday prime-time TV interview live. Trump might need to remain in the shadows, and there may be people around him that need to make appearances in both the media appearance and the raid. If the campaign suddenly has to cancel when someone from the Q team tells them Trump can't do TV that date for some fake reason it will be very clear when the raid happens he probably knew about it. Something like this is entirely plausible.
That's why I trust the plan as far as the Q Team can control it, but there are certain things that could very well be out of their reach for multiple reasons. I think the technical term is "shit happens".
Well, this whole thing sure shows where many of the "patriots" are in their thinking. Threw him under the bus is what many have done. I don't pretend to know what he knows and never will. Lotta armchair quarterbacks here, disappointing.
True. I don't think there is any chance he thought up the NFT stuff on his own. I don't see him as a crypto guru. This 100% came from his campaign. Sad part is he has to deal with the fallout of everyone accusing him of being a grifter when he probably just thought the idea was something that would make his supporters excited and was being nice. I'm sure he has people that can take advantage of the situation and turn it to his favor anyway. Hopefully somebody learned from it.
Do YOU think he is powerless over his campaign? I don't think so but I could be wrong. BTW, I appreciate the numerous postings that you put up....good stuff!

I appreciate your thinking on this.
However, Trust the Plan. We are watching a perfectly made movie.

Well said.
