The military and many government agents need s phone that is secure from tracking.
Think of all the data China has from US soldiers using Androids or IPhones.
They have a perfect map of every military facility, who meets with who, etc.
Obviously if military is required to use a secure phone, the manufacturer will instantly become one of the largest in the world.
I don't use a "smart phone" and rarely use a cell phone so I may be mistaken in my understanding of the tech, but wouldn't a sat phone do away with the need/use of 5G?
Not necessarily. If operated purely on 4G and Starlink yes it could be done without 5G but ots more of an option to use. Phones could roll out as 4/5G and Sat capeable.
Starlink is not the right type of sat system for phones.
What kind is it. Is it the RSR565?
Thanks.
